Which are huge when going from a Semitic language (like Arabic or Hebrew) to an Indo-European one (like English or French). I mean, we have problems going from Greek and Latin to English and they are both technically Indo-European, let alone going between language families.

Also, I love how Islamic scholars honour this by calling English versions "interpretations" or "The Meaning of" (Marmaduke Pickthall's, which is the Qu'ran interpretation that I own) or similar phrases that avoid calling it a translation. Makes for some very interesting, creative titles.

Again, your "interpretation" of these words is that one must be a Christian in order to be able to approach the Father. Krishna said the same kind of thing 5,000 years ago. John 14:6 is about awareness and not religion. The Christ is a world Teacher and not just a religious Teacher.

This was my point to Unsafe, where is the love and the justice that Chrisitans acclaim to God? A person born into a Hindu family is unlikely to believe in Jesus for various reasons. What about that person? A child is unlikely to believe in Jesus because of his or her young age, what about them?

Your black and white and view of the world makes no sense in the light of logic or spirtual wisdom. It's a doctrine that's been created based on interpretation and ignorance. It's certainly not the gospel according to Christ, who espoused a gospel of love and forgiveness for all people, even for the unbelievers and the sinners. Your doctrine is one of separation and exclusion.

My view of who and what the Christ is goes beyond religion. I believe Him to represent the Human Race as a Whole. I believe Him to be a World Teacher. And until we ourselves can become aware at His level of Awareness (however this awareness may come about) then we are destined to be stuck in this world of recurring life and death.

Becoming God-Aware means to give up your personal ambitions and your personal gains. We therefore rise by the humility of kneeling and we gain by the sacrifice of giving up. Ponder on this. It has nothing to do with your religion, it has to do with how you conduct yourself in this world.

Love your enemies is one the great commandments that Christ gave the world. It's too bad that too many Christians don't actually understand what this means.
