I could not compete with Bob today - so I set up the sale myself and picked and pitted the LAST of the cherries (another 4 Cups)...made them into a no-bake cherry crisp. Niece and I walked downtown and watered at the neighbour's - she figured out how to work the hose and drenched me - I didn't mind as it's so hot today. We also pulled out ALL the boxes, containers, bottles and more of beads that belonged to my grandma - they are all mixed up so will need sorted which will be a long project. Sold a desk today!

That would make a nice name for a town.
Fairwood, Ontario. If it doesn't exist, it should.

It also sounds like the name of a condo development.

Checking on Google, I see there is a Fairwood, Washington; and a Fairwood, Swansea.

Speaking of interesting places, this is my official apology to the province of Saskatchewan. How could I ever be so closed-eyed and so closed-minded to a place as beautiful as this. Forgive me dear Saskatchewan. You too are among the beautiful provinces that make up our fair land.

OY! Thought I was doing better but the mosquitoes really got us yesterday and I'm having a massive reaction.
The mosquitoes are awful here. Covered myself in bug spray really well yesterday as I wanted to be out in the garden. Picked the things I wanted, started to water the things as pots but quickly abandoned them as I still had lots of bites and they were swelling up. I probably should have used IV meds but I needed to do my regular injection and I also wanted the DEET off me so I didn't fiddle around with it. A few years later the regular stuff seemed to have worked.

Looks like I'll be out of the garden for a while, hoping they die off quickly!

This is the first year the mosquitoes have left me alone for the most part...usually I'd be covered as soon as I walked outside, and daily reactions. I think this is only the 3rd time this summer I've really had a lot of bites and a massive reaction.

Stupid autocorrect. I meant everyone, not Fairwood.
Ha ha reminds me of an office I worked in back in the early 1990's. Computers were new so we were fooling around with having words correct to a different word when typed. The boss was a guy named Shaughn. So I had anytime Shaughn was typed it would change to read "the tubby guy in the corner office." Unfortunately Shaughn's computer crashed one day and he had to write a letter so he used my computer, he was not amused at what came up when he typed his name at the end of the letter. It was the last time I fooled about with the correct feature at that job. :ROFLMAO:

Great story You.

I've been experimenting the last few days with something called a "3x4 keyboard." I'm general it works quite well, but not always. Less common names don't always come out correctly. For instance, Yobo's real name of Dunlap.

Today is the 125th Anniversary of July 30, 1891. Sounds like a good reason to celebrate.

Aah, July 30, 1891. It was a wonderful day. People fell in love. Babies got hatched. Picnickers drank lemonade and nibbled on cheese and cherry sandwiches. Bands played music. And pilots soared airplanes into blue azure skies. Perfectly wonderful, forever gone, never forgotten.

I doubt too many pilots roared cross the skies in planes... the Wright Brothers only did so in 1903. Hot air balloons, maybe, but no planes.

Though again, UFO's may have been a possibility.

Oh, and I suppose you were around in 1891? I never saw you in 1891. Please Redbaron. Moreover, I'm last.

And tomorrow is the last Sunday, and the last day of the month. Yet another month goes by, and I never had to find the cube root of a number. Thanks, my Grade 4 teacher, for making us learn a life skill that was pretty much a waste of time.
