With all the debate about the words of "O Canada" lately, I've always preferred "O Canada" as an instrumental. I find it far more stirring. Here's my favourite rendition, made back in 1979.

Pancake breakfasts are great. There are several large prayer breakfasts held each year in Ontario that serve pancakes. Surprised they aren't called flapjacks in Calgary.
