Wow! This is such a judgemental comment.Much depends on what we intend saying the word "worship".
Many are delighted to gather and share in the "worship" of Jesus. Few are as ready to be doers of the word they hear and celebrate in "worship".
George
And that sums up the difference between the 'grace by works' & 'grace by faith' peeps :3Wow! This is such a judgemental comment.
And Hitler was one of those Christians. Many German Christians were believers the whole while Hitler rose and dominated. Few stepped out to follow along the way of truthfulness in the face of abusive power.

And... how many people did the atheist Stalin see killed? And Hitler was one of those Christians.
Also the majority of Russian Christians went underground, whilst Stalinist communism was around, and when Russia gave up communism the Christians became prominent once again. Like they had never left (which they hadn't (They just lied everyday, about who they were.))
And... how many people did the atheist Stalin see killed?
Jae, you, as well as others, seem to be conflating religiosity with morality. I don't generally see a link.
For one thing George, Christian leaders have largely failed to train and equip the laity to oppose the powers in the marketplaces of the world.Hi Jae,
Why do you suppose so many Christians hide their light under a basket when there is such darkness in the world? Ought we not speak and act in resistance to the powers and principalities by which creature and creation are spoiled for profit and power? In this way announcing the end of one way of being and the emergence of another?

According to the internet Stalin had 34 to 49 million killed. But sadly that is what despots do. Whether they are religious or not.And... how many people did the atheist Stalin see killed?

Isn't the number bad enough whether it 6, 7, 8 or 9 million, he was a mass murdering Despot nutjob. The point was Despots are evil bast**ds, It doesn't matter what colour or creed, what religion they are or are not, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Warlords in Myanmar, Africa, South America, are all evil despots and kill with impunity. Kim Jong Il is another.Pavlos - Hitler killed 600,000???
I thought he killed (or ordered the killing - same thing) 6,000,000 Jews, as well as many more people he considered unfit (gypsies, gays, mentally challanged).
Honestly, George, which one will be a doer and which one will be a quiet believer will not show until each one of us gets into that situation. And it never was a majority and likely never will be. I would call it courage and integrity that makes people of any or no faith step out of line. I don't think it matters which belief system people follow.
