Muslims & Christians: Same God?

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

I have known persons of all spiritual persuasions and persons of little or no spiritual persuasion. Among all those encountered I have found exemplars of the best and the worst. I much prefer an honest and kind anybody over a dishonest and unkind anybody. Which is not to say that I give myself permission to refuse the dishonest and the unkind as fellow travellers on the way. It only means that discernment for me goes a little deeper than the words coming out of someone's mouth and the labels by which we mark and judge others.

I believe if you look up on the top of there mosque you will see the Crescent Moon and star . which is the sign of baal the god of the moon with a star .this may help.

Allah - the Moon God
The Archaeology of the Middle East
The religion of Islam has as its focus of worship a deity by the name of "Allah." The Muslims claim that Allah in pre-Islamic times was the biblical God of the Patriarchs, prophets, and apostles. The issue is thus one of continuity. Was "Allah" the biblical God or a pagan god in Arabia during pre-Islamic times? The Muslim's claim of continuity is essential to their attempt to convert Jews and Christians for if "Allah" is part of the flow of divine revelation in Scripture, then it is the next step in biblical religion. Thus we should all become Muslims. But, on the other hand, if Allah was a pre-Islamic pagan deity, then its core claim is refuted. Religious claims often fall before the results of hard sciences such as archeology. We can endlessly speculate about the past or go and dig it up and see what the evidence reveals. This is the only way to find out the truth concerning the origins of Allah. As we shall see, the hard evidence demonstrates that the god Allah was a pagan deity. In fact, he was the Moon-god who was married to the sun goddess and the stars were his daughters.
It is silly to try to make out that Allah is a pagan god, or evil, etc.. It's likely (if you believe that S**t as you do) that Baal was one of the US, Yahwah was referring to in Genesis 3:22.

This a Pictor I showed a member here called witch". He could not tell me much about it or at least he would not. It is taken from a witch program . please note the shoulder Crescent Moon and stars. Again this is from which craft. Also moon over head.
That is a photo-shopped image (why I have no idea) as the tattoo is too pixilated and too black to be of the original image. And as such trying to claim some connection to Islam is stretching it a bit.

We couldn't have an appropriate Christianity without walls could we ... what kind of a vale could Rehab have resided in ... like insects on the wall that bug pure minds ... totally emptied ... vacated?

If looking at this like the pagans of Bhutan ... we should have some satyrs for hard laughter!

But if someone giggles in the crowd ... even Trump thinks he's carded ... as not socializing?

Some Buddha was quoted as saying laughter is healthy for the soul ... Grinch's thus have shrunken soles ... or just heads because they don't think that way? :) to PAC Key'd ...

No just deus abscontia regarding the satisfied mind thingy as not being ding danged properly .... Gong!

The crescent shape is a warning that somebody might be out gathering (harvesting) Semites ... icons not acceptable to the iconoclasts as they burn dark ladies ... those that leer under the sheets ... as if they couldn't believe what appears ... or not!

Poor not that graphic ... for those that have observed the strangest things in the forests ... evolutionists? Those who observe change in even the epistemic word ... as it grows ... piled so deep now ... many can't see the low end or the beginning of the etymological tree ... forgotten logic and rationale!

The fantasy of the post-capitalist Buddha plays in parodic form to the emergence of the image. And the poetics of it's gaze is strictly congruent with linguistic transparency. So the culture of process is homologous with the construction of exchange value. Which leaves us with the legitimised desire of the virtual coextensive fiction of the nation-state.

I have this suspicion that Buddha was resurrected as Mono Lisa ... those fat cheeks give Hur away ... she didn't like the way patriarchy and Pede were larnin' ... excessively pedantic?

With all the loose robing in those days she too probably fell over something ... tales?

--Good morning Revsdd-- I was wondering if you know, much about there bible the Muslim use the Qur'an? I was wondering if you know ,it states they are to kill those who don't bow to there god Allah. You I am sure you understand they hate Israel. What dose are Bible say about those who hate Israel? I believe they can follow any God they want . I how ever don't trust them. They do not believe in live and let live. They are proving this today all over the world. In Muslim area's they have kill thousands of Christians and still are. They have attacked many Nations though out the world an Kill many others.

You ask if I know much about the Koran. Can't say I've studied it in detail, but I have actually read it. Cover to cover. Have you? Because if you haven't, commenting on it seems a bit dishonest, since you're commenting out of ignorance rather than knowledge.

Saying that the Koran says to kill those who aren't Muslim is at most a proof-text lacking context. Saying "they [presumably Muslims] hate Israel" is an unhelpful generalization. Some Muslims hate Israel. Often it's for political more than religious reasons - fights over territory, etc. You say that you don't trust "them" - assuming, again, Muslims. That's your choice. Do you know very many Muslims? My congregation is actually working with another church and a local mosque on refugee sponsorship. It's allowed me to get to know a number of Muslims. And it's true that there are Muslims I don't trust either. And Christians. And Jews. I don't give or deny my trust to a person just because of what religious faith they choose to identify with.

It's quite true that Muslims have killed many Christians and attacked many nations. So have Christians killed many Muslims and attacked many nations over the centuries. No religion has a monopoly on either peace or violence.

Whereas Christians have historically brought out the welcome mats for those of other faiths and no faith. No violence from Christians. No way.
Well it looks like the files of 22,000 ISIL fighters has been leaked. Includes their addresses and phone numbers and who recruited them, even tick off the box if you are here as a suicide bomber. I would imagine governments around the world will be gathering them up and sending them out for water board treatment at some Guantanamo Bay type location. Blame Jesus on that one.

--You know Pavlos I sort of felt you would have something to say on this. That you don't believe what your eyes show you seems" about right for you. After all you did state you read the hole Bible , and know it all . Much better than I do. I was wondering if that's the case , why would a smart person like you Mist GOD? Or did you see Him, and just tell you're self , it was just those lying eyes of mine. If not being that smart" means, you can find GOD. Well in that case I am kind of happy being that way . Praise The Lord.

It is said that to read the Qu'ran in English is unacceptable because of the satire-like innuendos in Semitic tongues ... I learned that in Hebrew and am learning the ambiguities in Arabic ... right down to the letters as the initial that hit me like a stroke of jinni's ... genius? That'd be the " ا" as I see the alef that sometimes in other traditions shows up as "ƒ" "ɭ" "ʅ" and thus the thought involved is sheer chaos. Especially when the alef is lifted in sight of those hiding under it ... and not cabbaging allowed!

Trouble is ... even in linguistics they don't teach the progression! The symbols vary extremely ... although many believe they are constant ... like sects they have a spectre of understanding as this is the way we like walls built ... blame it on Trump?

No ... even he isn't that powerful!

Mist God ... god does leave a person sort of misty as the song of love goes ...

And good for you. I'm sincerely pleased you are happy.

Even if you have read the whole Koran, there are words/phrases that the average person will not understand without a Muslim to interpret.

Anjem uses a number of these words in this video, and if you don't know what they are, you could watch it 20 times and not understand what he is saying.

Certainly true that some churches rely on their congregants not knowing what the bible says compared to what they are being told. Other have to go so far as to say the bible is unreliable because they are so far in left field that their heresies can no longer be concealed.

for those interested, since airclean33 (a New air freshener! cleans out spots, unwanted guest on the couch, satan herself, now available at Canadatire) mentioned it, that picture, I did some research and this is what I came up with

That picture seems to be done by Jessica Galbreth, a self-identified Christian who calls herself 'The Vintage Angel Artist' who sells her works -- she also does things like quotes, fobs, lockets, etc Her art reminds me of the famous artist, Arthur Rackham

I still don't know why airclean33 put up that image -- I guess he is intentionally looking for images that remind him of Islam?

I've looked at a better image of the one he gave, and those three dots look like dots & not stars to me

Pareidolia can be fun

All g_ds are pagan, its just that for sombunall people, 'pagan' is a swear word for a blasphemous concept
For sombunall people, 'pagan' is a virtue or a blessing

One of my favourite commentaries on the OT is a comic series by Douglas Rushkoff called Testament -- one of the things it has fun with is during the binding of Isaac, that it was Ba'al who wanted the sacrifice (Douglas thought what culture was Abraham a part of and what g_ds was he likely to worship, which ones needed human sacrifice atop high places? Bam, Ba'al) and that it was a story meant to show that the 'new' g_d was stronger than the old g_d (Ba'al)

Another of my favourites is Nina Paley, who has done brilliant animations on certain stories in the OT (I love her retelling of the Golden Calf scene as a battle between the old, matriarchal faith and the new paternalistic faith that murders them all...go MOSES!!!)

Narratives are powerful
