Hm... I don't know Cousin. From what I've read online, it isn't particularly good vodka.

Whereas Laphroig is an excellent Scotch (Yes, I have partaken. Friends of mine used to exchange aged single malts for Christmas.)

One of my favorite human beings, magician and Internet personality Brian Brushwood, is getting grief for voting Libertarian because some Clinton (or at least anti-Trump) supporters see that as helping Trump. Like me, he believes you should be able to vote your conscience and hold you head up high doing so instead of playing strategic games with you vote. I've tweeted in support of him.
I disagree in situations (such as this) where the greater of two evils happens to be a vindictive megalomaniac. They haven't been known to work out too well for people, for the good of humanity. Then, voting one's conscience takes on a new meaning. Because at the end of the day it's just supporting something unconscionable - and selfish - to vote for the one you like knowing they will never win. History will not pat anyone on the back for that. One function of the priveledge democracy is to be able to rationally weigh the consequences to the greater good, before voting.

What is the morality of voting your conscience in a system rigged against anything but a straight two-party system, like this Electoral College add-on?

I put on the news. Was planning on just skipping it tonight. I really didn't think Trump would do this well as elections in recent years locally have shown me that ridiculous statements don't go over too well. I guess the US is different that way though.

People who only listen to mainstream media are of course a bit confused. It must be like finding out who Santa Claus is.

Well, you no longer have to be the little backdrop people of Clinton dreams!
