AI Dream Catchers ?
View attachment 12433

Claude can now "dream."

In essence: Claude reflects on its “day,” tidies its mind, and wakes up smarter.

This runs on a schedule (or manually triggered), mimics human sleep-based memory consolidation, and enables self-improvement without full retraining — boosting reliability and performance in long-running or multi-agent tasks.

Sounds like it's a sort of dynamic Systems Analyst, if I understand correctly...programmable too?

Never saw the movie but the novel was a favourite during my Stephen King period. Cool car, too. Too bad about it being a homicidal maniac. Maximum Overdrive deals with vehicles going berserk, too, but it kind of sucks. Stephen King's only try at directing and for good reason. On the upside, the soundtrack was basically an ACDC greatest hits album so it had that going for it. I think and his son Joe Hill have done a reimagining or sequel or something like that to Richard Matheson's Duel but the vehicle in Duel did have a driver IIRC, just one who remained hidden as he stalked the protagonist.

It still has this sense of a driven conflict ... not a moment of peace. Of course if you can divide ... the potential of winning is there ... but not necessarily so if alien factors evolve! In this lower zone of the star chamber conflict is prime, pagan, etc. Cooperation occurs in pair a dice those paired Ayes out there ... the mythical snake involved in the crush ... may occur under the dashboard light ...

Too far out and complex for a simple deliberation ... as in stories that cannot be unraveled by mortals ... why I am exiled ... like that man in Papillion ... all a flutter ...

My personal favourite Claude is not AI. (Actor Claude Rains, here in Casablanca). He also had a good run in monster/horror movies, playing leads in The Invisible Man and The Phantom of the Opera as well as a supporting role in The Wolf Man.

Imagine a point in "time" where the code is broken and some entity grabs the control of all intelligence and passions become a free entity ... would they tend to be destructive towards anything critical like Thomas Paine? This may be simply a discomfort if you are willing to give up on all your learned matter ... for a good price.

A late friend used to say everything (even God?) would go for a decent price ... does that suggest that the Eccles are a sell out?

Should one know about Eccles and wild sketches ... images from beyond!

Is your job is Ai proof?
For now. It's going to be a while before businesses trust AI with management roles. I suspect my successor (I'm nearing retirement) will have AIs on their team, though. IT support is something that you can train a bot for, though the level of detail and specificity needed for our environment likely means we would have to train our own rather than use one "off the rack". We are already going to be using AI-assisted development for a major development project this year.
This particular company specializes in call center chat bots.
Companies are already trying to steer people to chat bots and that's only going escalate. Even CRA and other government programs are playing that game now. Haven't tried CRA's yet but should toss it some curveballs just to see what it does.

Scary Sentient Self-Driving Car
Remember?
ooo, good call :3

Then there is Killdozer! (Bulldozer fights her oppressors based on Theodore Sturgeon novella)
Rubber (an old tire suddenly becomes self aware and goes on a murder spree...very weird movie)

Maxi Overdrive was quite a stinker
And yeah the soundtrack ROCKS
(i see someone made a tv movie called Trucks based on the story)

Can you imagine when machine like language takes over ... everything will take on a constant character and nature ... forcing seizures ...

Another empire falls without a real populace ... just an artificial marketplace ... because there'd be nothing to work for a living ... degrading?

Such are the images in my head of downfall of specific items of critical nature ...

When the power to the south (trump card?) finishes his mechanization of destroying the conscious workforce ... elimination of the opposition to wealth ... alone without people.

Can you imagine a marketplace failure? Will monet/MonA alone carry the psyche through in a lady-like manner? Thus fey and flighty Bills ...

Maybe trumped up head start ... preliminary or pagan ... pre history!

Some are inclined to fret about the future so they are hoar Dings ... reinforcing the Luddites ... ding bats ... right out of hAI ... high enough cost?

Explains the chaos and mess ... if one were to look into the distraught circulation ... deranged because of a lumpy cosmos! And the largee powers don't even notice because of their comprehension of billing time before there is time to do something about it ... legalism?

Can you imagine word being frightening to those that understand and doubt the application and formulation of Kings? Thus we skip over the pool as flat rocking's ...

I noticed a story today (that I will try to relocate) saying that China is likely going to depend heavily on robots going forward given its population is aging and not really growing, leading to a shortage of workers. The one child policy did the initial damage since that meant they were running below replacement rate for a couple decades, but now they have the same problem as we see in certain populations in Western countries; affluent young people would rather enjoy their non-working time in various ways (travel, gaming, partying) than raise a family.

Yeppers
Saves money
And literally boku bucks are being spent promoting this by imho psychopaths with no skin in the game

Not that long ago I was able to get in contact with an actual person on my Cellprovider. Now I start with a chatbot

Thank goodness I can still get in contact with flesh and blood human beings on my banks and credit cards

In related news, Cory Doctoraw is kickstarting his latest book, The Reverse Centaur's Guide to Life After AI
