With @StevieG popping in for a visit, I decided to resurrect the awesome "what's in your purse", triggered by StevieG's Plus One.

In the day, I wasn't carrying a purse much, or it was small, so, this is my crazy purse list.

phone charger (ie goes in cigarette lighter) - which I can never find when i want
velcro strap for cords -- now in my laptop bag
 
What's not in my purse? *sigh* Try to lighten it up, but there's always so much stuff. I guess there's also sometimes the stuff in another purse that should be in the purse I'm currently using, need, but it's not there.
 
What's in my purse?

Wallet, more or less in order
church name tag which didn't go back in name tag holder
huge lump of keys with multitude of sentimental key fobs, charms attached, comprising cabin keys, church keys, all the house keys (I have a separate lanyard with just car and front door key on it)
cough drops because the frigging ragweed will never die
a probably half-charged power bank
a retractable cable
3 specialty pens which belong in their appropriate boxes (graphics pens, a calligraphy pen)
regular pen and lead pencil
2 lighters, although I haven't smoked tobacco in years. One is just fine for candle-lighting, etc.
one lipstick that I never wear because I loathe the colour
a hair elastic
a little stack of papers, mainly comprising receipts that can be tossed, and church bulletins, but also including some health care receipts (massage and DCM) for reimbursement.
checkbook (just one)
a pair of tweezers; no idea why they are in there instead of in the bathroom

My small leatherman knife/scissors/various tools that belongs there is missing and I think I've seen it in the bathroom so time to do some trading.

And it's a fairly small purse.

I tend to travel light.
 
Here is one thing that isn't in my purse - panties. I took StevieG at her word and thought Rita's idea

to carry extra underwear was a good thing. You all remember the pic of me holding up red panties

from my purse while about to have treatment . Kept my kids and everyone around upbeat and laughing. That was the

day they had to call a code - Stevie, I have always blamed the underwear. I don't have any in my purse now. lolol
