What Legacy Does Trump Leave?

He's a strong president, they said. He is a businessman, they said.
And realistically, these are not 100% compatible even if he was either (both are dubious claims in his case). A country is not a business. It doesn't need to run at a profit (ideally it breaks even, but not a profit). It needs to offer protection, support and care to its people, who are essentially its shareholders. Instead, the US seems to run like a corporation with rich donors to the parties as the shareholders. And Trump is the reductio ad absurdum of that whole situation.

(We are somewhat better but there's still a lot of love between corporations and government that can steer things in the wrong direction).

A country is not part of the business and belief scheme? Well damn ...

That will be a big disappointment to those concerned about the 8-10% sign 'n bonus ... as they really do not work for anything else! It is perfect when you are top of the great heap ... but usually CEO's are depressed regardless (even if you cannot regard it) as a matter of bad sight ... blind?

It is like the powerful being up against a wall of paranoia that the little people will be their destruction ... fear is like that ... metaphorically ...

I avoid all American goods, services, and stores all the time. I believe that's what every good Canadian must do
I buy whatever I want as long as I can afford it - sourced from wherever country is making the thing I want!

Canadian or not - everyone should be free to make their own choice on what they buy.

Frankly, Jae likely buys very little that is Canadian or American given he lives in Korea whose supply chain is probably mostly local to East Asia. So it's not really a conversation worth having with him.

I would say that I don't buy a lot of American stuff but I certainly buy a lot that comes from outside Canada. This is, after all, not an either-or situation. There's a lot of goods on our shelves that don't come from either Canada or the US. Including Korean goods.

I purposely bought tires that were made in Canada recently. I don't buy American booze anymore and will not going forward. It has made a difference. We know it has, or the administration wouldn't bring it up so often.

I don't buy US products.

Anything but.

I'm a little less careful than i was but i get right pissed off when I see American produce when Canadian is available

As we regress from the estate unis in their unique stand designed to create conflict ... guess what? It is a small thing in the continuous degradation of the gift ... cultivation diminishes as do health, etc. and any simulation of caring ... that's degrading the beast! The opposed war to war is unacceptable to those wishing to win the game that they believe they can't lose ... because of blindness to reactivity that goes with it! IC saith he when the dirt was washed away ... all clear!

Fascination is that when the mystery created winners ... a bottom line was drawn ... Luce Eire! Free but not capable unless drive fiercely by what ever drives the wind ... air bags? Expect puncture asian ... punctuation ...

When AI completely takes over the spelling rules will be broken ... no spells ... and not a thought about it ... the aura collapsed ... thus elle oral in Rome as thorny issue ... exposed? The myth is outstanding and impressive ... to the point no one knows what they are getting ... as the powers take control and we voted for more of it ... immoderate folk!

bulls**t.

I know that i shouldn't be so jaded, but, we see so much crap out of Trump & his cronies, that I don't believe any of it.

I can't imagine dealing with a jerk like that, or his team

I find it rightfully justifies the term stunned, ignorant and unthinking as ... lets face it we've been told for millennia that stupid is best and thus Pede Prin.

One should act so to fit in as alien trying to investigate the innate ... tis nasty merde ... and if you don't know merde, try merte a corruption of Muerte come to life ... bones in a long dark robe ... a thin one in the stretch ... as we attempt to see how far deficiency of Sophy goes ... imagine her losing it!

I'm not allowed to say any more than that due to censors ... high hands in employ of mores? Et hic society ... because of exemption ... they can't know any better when examining what was shoved up scale is widespread! A fount of ide ... NOS height ...

The Hache is difficult in many tongues --- EH Kay ... achkan ... be on your toes ... like Jake the displaced Gaul ... di able ... beyond the body! Could take in anyone ... like Felicia ... el pas O? Nothing goes ... therein a myth ... about losing it ... did yah get it?

We could be in the wrong place ... at least wrong church ...

Those are the “thoughts” of one who thinks he deserves 100% support for the way he handles the American economy…. Suuuure!

The Economist this morning said that apparently when he was asked about intervening in the bond market further, Trump started talking about military intervention?? Which basically suggests to me that the d*ck knows nothing about the economy and is just relying on advisors like Bessent to deal with stuff like that, then pretending he knows what's going on when asked.

Isn't there a song about that ... and Job in the abstract ... grand place to labor if one knows nothing ... the rapture ... Muerte ... the darker word of the Dais ... face it! Heis potentially 'elle bent to screw his friends as he tries to make more brutal allies ... beasties!

AI can grow into that ... as it takes over our mental processes and then is shut down leaving us clueless ... a great design of delinquency at bringing the whole thing down fully ... wholly and fuzzy ... because of no appreciation for knowledge ... just emotional exuberance ... irrational!

Alas few of the support design note it ... deflation is immanent ... roses and balloons mix poorly ... they exist in the Kar Doom ...

What does a war of attrition do if you use it on attributable allies?

Doth trust erode as an element of erosion of something not solid? So it goeth ... go thic for shore tended ... and the subject and not a clue about the object nor medium ... AD not ab it ...
