Wasn’t there some escalation in the Middle East that was started by the US and Israel during Ramadan, before? It’s a time of fasting, reflection and prayer for Muslims, but also - peoples’ eating routine (they eat during the night) and sleep patterns are altered.

There's a fair number of exceptions. Illness, conditions like my diabetes, and the ones you mention. It might vary by school/sect though. I forget if it is spelled out in the Qu'ran or based on interpretation.

Trump's legacy will be that he exposed the USA by "removing the mask" so to speak.
The violence was always there.
The coups were there.
The lies were there.
The racial hierarchy was there.
The settler myth was there.
The psychotic entitlement was there.
Trump just fused them into a personality loud enough that even the comfortable could no longer avoid seeing it.
That is why he disgusts so many people.
Not because he is foreign to the ruling class story but because he is one of the clearest examples of what it has become.
