Yes, Luce, the Bible speaks to the idea that more is expected of those who've been given much. In Luke 12:48, Jesus says, "'From everyone who's been given much, much will be demanded. From the one who's been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.'" With great blessings come great responsibilities.

Your post touches on the challenges that come with leadership. It's important for those of us in positions of power to recognize our responsibilities. We Christian leaders must act with integrity

Then the rationale kicks in to cater to the wealthy to see what one can extract ... allowing that you can ration anything ... and thus nations come apart as it seams ... due to parts with bad stitches ... and little empathy (piously speaking; which should be low in volume so as not to disturb the glory).

I note that about 5 minutes in, a Democrat was ejected from the chamber. Interesting impact years, during the Biden era, Republican house members Boebert and Greene were constantly heckling. They were never escorted out. Why not??

As I recall from the campaign, one of Trump's highest priority was to lower prices on groceries. That issue bought him a lot of support. Yet even before he took office he backpedaled on that high-priority promise. Now, his tariff politically cause those prices to go UP, not DOWN. Wonder how many would have voted for him had he been honest during the campaign.

The first report on the speech I heard was from Senator Adam Schiff on Threads. He said that for most Americans, the speech contained... not much at all

Schiff is a far left Dem with no credibility just whining the party line. The poll celebrating Trump's address was taken by the very progressive CNN.
