Haltbakk Bunkers CEO Gunnar Gran confirmed the decision to Norwegian newspaper VG, stating that the move was largely symbolic, as the company did not have a fixed contract with the U.S. military.

While the private company’s stance gained attention, Norway’s government has made it clear that official military cooperation with the US remains unchanged.

I do understand what an executive order is, and it's interesting to see 'approval' ratings. Now, I totally get that you can approve or disapprove of various policies. What confuses me is the attempt to disapprove of biology. There are not only two mammalian genders and no-one has ever been able to categorize every mammalian birth as one of two genders. By my count, there are at least 4 variables, and not all of them are "pick one of two"; many, like XY chromosomal variation, have at least 6 known variations. The 4 basic variables are: anatomy, chromosomes, hormones, and physical brain structure. Even assuming only a yes/no to each of these variables (and I've demonstrated that at least one variable has 6+ answers), we have a minimum of 2 to the 4th power, which is 16, different potential genders. Now you can legislate until you're fecking blue in the face, but divvying up a minimum of 16 gender combos into two is possibly not entirely possible without some pretty arbitrary decisions, like (despite any kind of infant interference of androgynous/intersex births) "dick" is male, "no dick" is female, and then are there qualifications about angry inches or large clitorises? This whole discussion becomes a bit wyrd.

Despite Trump and Musk's actual illegalities and actual anti-Constitutional actions (which are actually True -- we aren't talking aboot Woke nothing is True here -- if you want I can give you actual cites), is there any of what he is doing that you aren't ok with?

Do let me know how you integrate the science of gender. (Hint: bet it's got to do with dicks; it always does..) It's how we determine orientation, as well: 2 dicks bad, one dick good, 0 dicks bad.
 
So I watched The Fifth Estate about Project 2025 and the tariffs. Still, I don’t understand the threat of it. It’s the US consumers who will end up paying the extra cost, in many parts the US and Canada economy are so intertwined that the US can’t just not buy Canadian- and if they want to go buying the stuff they need from other countries, there will be tariffs on that ,too. I don’t get why we would put on counter tariffs- no tariffs on our side would keep things cheaper for consumers. They should go with encouraging buying local/ Canadian instead. ( though if US goods are cheaper than Canadian, then it makes sense.)

Conflict resolution? Is that profitable, or not as contingent? Requires some give'n take ... Grace took hold and jerked it out ... be cautious you do not get entangled in the gear or ye will be hauled own ... gravid concern?

lol nah (tho the US gov't definitely is overloaded with dicks)

Ok, here is what I came up with (I do my best thinking on sleep);
this is looking from the inside of the current administration's belief:
their definining as two sexes (yes i know they used gender, in the older usage of the term) as binary is part of their plan to get rid of CSJ in their gov't. that's it.

from the outside, as Bette pointed oot in her riff, it can look bizarre. i know a famous animal guy who loves working with spiders who shares similar sentiments on spiders...
