Reminds me of this
Germany has still some Nazi things that are illegal to use. I didn’t know about this phrase, but Höcke is a known nazi and his influence is dangerous ( his argument that he didn’t know it’s illegal is moot- he was a history teacher. He also used it the second time after he was already accused for the first time).
I don’t think one could make the use of the word Reich illegal, but it clearly shows one’s intention.

If the masses can be convinced that knowing is evil ... abstract (fantasize) a solution ... a return to mental process from a realm of emotions and blind X-stacy!

X denoting a idea of mystery, etc. This unknown is often used as a phobia instead of a hunger for learning ... thus we remain somewhat stunned ... phobia in the general public is a plus to authority ... something to be cultivated in those losing grasp ... so it goes!

Newsmax is not an unbiased, reliable source.

We've seen trump saying some of the things expressed in that ad. We've also seen evidence of cognitive decline in him. There's lots of video evidence of both. In context.

He's a danger.

  • Trump said he wanted to be dictator "for a day"
  • Trump called certain immigrants "vermin"
  • Trump tried to disrupt the peaceful transition of power by getting his VP to not certify the election
  • When he was not successful, he encouraged his followers to protest. January 6 was the result
  • He has continued to say the election was stolen/rigged/etc
  • He's in court being tried for trying to influence the election of 2016
  • He violates his gag order by having his sycophants speak for him
  • He's doing his best to discredit the justice system and seems to believe he's above the law
  • He has a cult following.

I could go on. Others can add to this list.

He has also had many brain glitches while being recorded. It's public record.

Please tell us how he's not a danger.

He's more than just unsuitable.

I would not say Trump is evil. I would say he is a deeply deluded, self-centered, self-entitled man who believes presidents should have the same privileges as dictators and despots. He has repeatedly said this in claiming presidents should not be subject for any action they might commit as a president. He has declared his intent to get revenge against anyone who has wronged him. He stated his intentions to increase the power of presidents. He likes dictators. He has revealed his racist inclinations repeatedly.

His supporters are a mix of people. One significant group includes white nationalists, misogynists, and nazis. Another group includes white people resenting their loss of the privilege of bullying and disrespecting other people, the ones who scream cancel culture. Another group are people who feel repeatedly betrayed by Democrats, and they are right to feel betrayed. Many believe all manner of conspiracy theories and misinformation. Gun activists are persuaded Democrats threaten their access to guns.

I despise mouthpieces on all sides who proclaim falsehoods instead of just focusing on whatever good stuff they have to offer for their point of view or truthful negative stuff about others.

At post #1688 in this thread I am still not buying into the propaganda that Trump is evil, Trump is Hitler, and Trump supporters are Nazis.

I support neither Biden or Trump as suitable candidates for the POTUS.

Neither do I support the shameful divisive rhetoric from the biased propaganda mouthpieces on either side.

So basically you're Canadian and can't vote in the American election anyway? As most of us here.

Because of their proximity and economic ties, Canadians have more at stake than most countries when it comes to the American election.

Two-thirds of Canada's 40 million people live within 100 km (62 miles) of the U.S. border.

Canadian snowbirds add billions to the US economy and many own or rent property in the United States.

If I spend 6 months in Arizona in the winter I have to pay taxes, pay for garbage pick-up, water, sewer, etc. etc.

"So basically you're Canadian and can't vote in the American election anyway?"

@Waterfall

I can't donate or vote, but I could volunteer.

How do you do that when you sit on the fence? Who do you volunteer for?

RFK Campaign

Kennedy is currently eligible for 231 electoral college votes, according to the RFK campaign website.

“We will easily be at 270 by the time the debate happens”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to file a complaint over potential debate exclusion.

*sigh* works in Canada, not in the U.S. The U.S. is completely a two party system. All "independents" do is throw votes to the nuttier party, currently the GOP. Exactly how educated on US politics are you, WhyCzar? Maybe you were a fan of Marianne Williamson? Really, really really...
