Never thought I would see the day that I would be posting xkcd in a Politics thread, but here we are, a political cartoon from Randall Munroe. How long is it until 2029 again?

The complexity of it all ... makes it difficult for those that demand to keep it simple, stupid! Those making the demands didn't know the concept of simple is contagious ... and that's how knowledge and wisdom took off with Sophisticated results beyond us ... oa Kay? Its a difficult tree to know any more than one branch ... if a locust ... a thorny issue!

Why do people delegate efforts?

Could it be that they don't know how to do it properly themselves? Imagine that in a personality of great demand to control everything while some things were delinquent ... I seen that system of stuff missed in the clouds of glory ... it does fog the non humbled! Sometimes blows their branes out or causes a stroke of escape ... there; done, gone ...

Short of a few words that were eliminated and denied ... because ... well thinking is evil to the secular gods ... thus out! Like literary device ... done squeezed ...

OMG!!!

Trump is with Klaus Schwab and the WEF, dedicated to the DESTRUCTION OF ALL HUMANITY MUAH BA HA *COUGH*

it all makes sense now

from his promotion of Operation Warp Speed

To grabbing innocent kittens

to Making Friends with such nobilities as North Korea

to randomly arresting all sorts of people

to supporting ME shenanigans (I'm lookin at you, Abbadon!!!)

through his support of Palantir
AI
Programmable Currency

dats and cogs, not living together

TOTAL CARNAGE!!!

*queue dancing Mark Carney doll*

ARCH!!!

So how much immunity does Trump have anyway? Does it give him a pass to tank the economy, reek havoc on the bond markets, and continue to lie about how this is all part of his master plan?
Do the American people even have the knowledge what they should do if they want to stop this nut and would they do it?
What would it take?

What would it take?
Congress impeaching him. Which won't happen until and unless the GOP loses a bunch of seats in both houses. Mike Johnson runs interference for Trump in the House so until the Dems are in control, there's no way articles of impeachment would make it to a vote. That's literally the only legal way to get rid of a president between elections. The VP can technically step in if the president is deemed incompetent but Vance won't fart without checking with the boss as far as I can tell.

Would an (not violent) uprising from the people be a legal route to oust him? Makes me wonder how those elected to serve can keep those they serve hostage.

Heard an interesting commentary on CBC, basically explaining that the US system always had the option to autocracy in it, it just all depended on who was in the White House if they used it or not….

If the search for power goes far enough will something suffer anti folly ... thus exponents?

The remnants are thin space that few powers believe exist as they rifle thro' M! A comprehension best kept in mind and thus entrained ... the mindless cannot approach the objective as it is way farouche! Ou*che??

The shay goes around ... as part of the race ... oar*Cis you know ... one may take considerable paddling ... like Greek Triremes ... examining the edges?

There may be Bill-Gyne ... love illness! many would like to go homme ... thus Gnomes ... gummies! Its a sticking point ... poke-poke! Like a hive once you get in ...

I once did a presentation on Stirring the Hive ... that use-ah dissonance in the USA Constitution of round about freedoms ... they must be restricted by callable nature ... when deposits are called up as gullible to you know what? Culpable ... powers will not listen to much ... but it the word can be stirred ... imagine outcome as other that utter destruction ... huge boob ... that blundered upon us?

What would folk rather know? Guess ... avoid Logi! Its said to be a vanity ... conclusions? Ci St Fini ... and the light went dark ... in key/quies? These may sneak in the dark ... profound experience! May take your breath away ... mental exhaustion as alien wind? Gone With The Wind? Wayward eh ...

It would be a legal way to put pressure on him to resign or on Congress to impeach, but the uprising alone would not be a legal way to remove him. And that's by design. States where governments can be changed by an uprising rarely have stability. And, to be frank, uprisings that change governments are rarely non-violent.

Back at the beginning of the US experiment Ben Franklin said they had a republic...if they could keep it

Retainers ... that the answer; retain-An's ... the keeper was Anne, or Ame ... thus she departed ... AZ ion? Good for shaping the log and altering the record ...

One must fit a lot of letters together ... form a hard skinned tale ... bit OXy ... bum steer? Donkey-like as they plod ... plaudits along! Leaving some words ... beefs?

Cowed *itches ... due to the bull they've received? Questions? Many to be served ...

I feel like this is a feedback loop lol

Apparently nothing tried before has been enough to stop him. It’s pretty disappointing and scary that such a powerful country’s constitution cannot prevent dictators.

I'm not sure what would stop him now. They missed their chance when they could have impeached him. They could have charged him with crimes related to Jan 6. So many could have, should have, would haves.

He's an example of what happens when a child is never told no or held accountable. It turns into a narcissistic adult baby who needs constant attention and power.

I'm not as much a student of political history as some here, but it seems to me that a republic model is more susceptible to authoritarian type rule than a parliamentary democracy, which the U.S. explicitly rejected.

Thus cronyism; with exceptional thought, the thought must be kept out of it! Romans declared a thinking personage to be dangerous! This remains high on the healthy agenda.

The news is that Trump is very healthy, as a physician in golf, anything can be mull 'd again ... just put the thing down! Ground of being ... some kind of ire 'n he? It all rusts and can be used to polish diamonds ... eM's hard! Being medi ... following protocol passed down ... can cause rips and other vast voids ...

Rapture ... R.I.P. That's how it went and we follow such forms ... these holes in the system are devised grandly ... mostly unseen as it is!
