-I am saying that if a Toddler dies ---God did not cause the death of the toddler and for you to think or say God is the causes shows your ignorance as to who God is and what He wants for His Creation

So what caused the toddler's death, and what could have prevented it?

That is beyond "wrong". That is spiritual cruelty and according to John Swinton's work would be a theodicy that crosses into evil. I agree.

I consider it ignorant and misguided. Needless to say it took time, love and patience to help him through the loss of his daddy. The words offered by several Christians have never been forgotten by him and he has no time for religious utterings now he is adult.

paradox3 -----your quote -----, I disagree that sickness and disease are caused by harbouring negative emotions (which you say arise from the strain of sin). Granted stress can be a factor in many physical illnesses.

unsafe says ---you can disagree all you want to ----but it is a fact that negative emotions affects our immune system -----stress is a major cause of death --Heart attacks for sure ----Fear is Satan's Hook ----Love is God's Hook ----- here are some who disagree with you -----

How Fear Causes Sickness and Disease

Stress and Disease - Conditions that May Be Caused by Chronic Stress
Stress! Don't Let It Make You Sick

New research reveals the links between stress and disease
Your first link, from the Functional Medicine Institute, is connected with alternative medicine.

The second link is more credible.

No argument from me that stress plays a role in physical illness.

We should be living the novel that is our life and working to make our story, and those around us, good ones that have a happy ending.

I largely agree Mendalla. I just believe that death need not be the final chapter of said novel.

Mendalla said:
Where's our incentive to change the world and our lives if it is just a bad prequel?

If it is a prequel, why does said prequel have to be considered as being "bad?" I want this prequel to be pleasant and wonderful, even while carrying the hope of heaven. As for the incentive to change the world, mine stems from the missio Dei. Believing that God's ultimate plan is to redeem our planet means working on behalf of redemption right now.

Does unequivocal nature of men of avarice cause stress ... especially in lesser folk ... pagan, heather and those denied educational leadership in what if pragmatic to the body of cells ... individualized or other ?

Surely the staunchly determinate cannot see variants in the way of a blind god ... leading?

Imagine such great weavings ...

unsafe says
People need to understand this ------the Curse is still in place on this planet and in unbelievers lives from Deuteronomy 28 -----they can deny it all they want to but that doesn't change the fact that the Curse remains in place and until Jesus comes back the Curse for unbelievers will be in affect -----all sickness and disease comes under the Curse -----All Sin has emotional consequences --Stress is one of those emotional consequences --but there is a Host of

If you break the Law -----your constantly looking over your shoulder for getting caught ----If your speeding on the highway ---your always looking for a cop car ------Stress is in your life -----if you cheat on your spouse ---you feel guilty and ashamed and stressed as you try to hide the affair by lying which creates it's own stress ---guilt and shame ---- your body will eventually cave under the pressure and you will begin to get see signs of distress in your body -------

Mankind actually brought the curse of the Law in all by them selves ---the Israelites ask for the Law -------so it was not God's wish for mankind but God granted what the Israelites wanted ------the law was brought in to show the Israelites their sin in hopes it would bring them to understand that they needed a Saviour to save them from themselves ------So God brought in 2 sides ---the Blessing for obedience ---check Deuteronomy 28 --No Sickness or Disease in any of the Blessing -------Check the Curses for disobedience in Deuteronomy 28 --a hole list of Diseases and Sicknesses there ------

Jesus came to take the Curse of the Law on the Cross and bring in the Blessings ------the Blessing are in Place for believers ---The Curse remains in place for unbelievers ------Believers can rest in the Promises of God and can dwell in peace which brings Health ----

unsafe says -----Salvation includes wholeness and wellness to our Bodies --Mind and Spirit -----we can believe that or not ---up to us

Posting Scripture

A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body; jealousy is like cancer in the bones. Proverbs 14:30 (NLT)

Don’t be impressed with your all wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn your back on evil. Then you’ll gain renewed health and vitality. Proverbs 3:7-8 (NLT)

Proverbs 4:20 -23 NKJV -----
__ —
My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. ”

I'm thinking the message is, "Take driving lessons."

Or maybe it really is, "Your turn!"

Your turn allows us to see the other side of ... unspeakable items of interest that can be a curse?

Then you become responsible for it if named as in nominalizing!

Unseen phenomenals ...

I was in the Rocky Mountains. Totally hopeless and totally alone. At the end of my rope in a manner of speaking. A flash of light from somewhere deep inside. Followed by a turning. Dead George left behind and spirit George returning to the world left behind. Returning in service to the redemption of persons lost in the confusion of our time.

How this happened remains a mystery to me; a wonder bringing me peace and joy. My mother once spoke of it as a miracle. All who knew me before marvel at what now presents itself in my person.

Miracle?

No. Humans (some) do get their s**t together. I don't confess to being anywhere near there...

I have met some/seen some very saintly people. It kinda works with the idea of reincarnation, too, you know. That if you do this whole thing over and over and keep trying hard (I hear the word "trying" associated often with my name, but there's two meanings for the word...), that you will eventually get to a place of detached loving acceptance of one's humanity, and you get to stay more often/mainly in the peace and joy place.

Most modern histories of mankind begin with the word evolution, and with a rather wordy exposition of evolution.

There is something slow and soothing and gradual about the word and even about the idea.

Nobody can imagine how nothing could turn into something.

Nobody can get an inch nearer to it by explaining how something could turn into something else.

It is really far more logical to start by saying 'In the beginning God created heaven and earth' even if you only mean 'In the beginning some unthinkable power began some unthinkable process.' For God is by its nature a name of mystery, and nobody ever supposed that man could imagine how a world was created any more than he could create one.

But evolution really is mistaken for explanation. It has the fatal quality of leaving on many minds the impression that they do understand it and everything else; just as many of them live under a sort of illusion that they have read the Origin of Species.

But this notion of something smooth and slow, like the ascent of a slope, is a great part of the illusion. It is an illogicality as well as an illusion; for slowness has really nothing to do with the question. An event is not any more intrinsically intelligible or unintelligible because of the pace at which it moves.

For a man who does not believe in a miracle, a slow miracle would be just as incredible as a swift one.

The Greek witch may have turned sailors to swine with a stroke of the wand. But to see a naval gentleman of our acquaintance looking a little more like a pig every day, till he ended with four trotters and a curly tail, would not be any more soothing. It might be rather more creepy and uncanny. The medieval wizard may have flown through the air from the top of a tower; but to see an old gentleman walking through the air, in a leisurely and lounging manner, would still seem to call for some explanation.

Yet there runs through all the rationalistic treatment of history this curious and confused idea that difficulty is avoided, or even mystery eliminated, by dwelling on mere delay or on something dilatory in the processes of things. The question here is the false atmosphere of facility and ease given by the mere suggestion of going slow; the sort of comfort that might be given to a nervous old woman traveling for the first time in a motor-car.

There may be a broken trail of stone and bone faintly suggesting the development of the human body. There is nothing even faintly suggesting such a development of this human mind. It was not and it was; we know not in what instant or in what infinity of years. Something happened; and it has all the appearance of a transaction outside of time.

This is so outrageous is could start a pyre in those that are determinately against probing the immortal ... dark gamma as g Lo' win ...the solution to superfluous and other alien immaterials ... dark energies? Mice UN it is nothing ... a holy love enough to start the dead ... mice on the shelf are just being their self ... shue 'M! Get a kitty ... at a home a Kathyrn?

Aspirations while on the mountain with MLK! I do declare i've seen nothing ... and you ain't see nothing yet? It'll come ... some critical point may be required ... that ephraim of sensitivity to the alternate ... ammonites ... hard shelled things to be broken up?

At the crack of Don ... high noon and Eve ... streaking by as you folks need rest! As sole ... nothing needed a story for stimulation ... conjuration from nothing ... thus the myth evolved that mankind was at peace ...

Is anyone got interest in looking about ... or is the great host disconnected ... dissociation constants?

How did you decide that this experience was connected to the God of Christianity? Why not consider it a Buddhist enlightenment or something else?

I did not decide that this experience had anything to do with the God of Christianity. It had everything to do with the God who is beyond all definition. The decision was informed by many traditions including Buddhism, Taoism, Judaism, Christianity, Platonism and diverse other spiritual traditions. I do not identify as a Christian. Like Jesus, I identify only as a human being. Hope this helps.

Being a fig tree in the presence of Jesus is just fine with me. Be honoured to have him sit in my shade. Would also be proud if he used me in a story told to make insight and encouragement possible.

chansen was referring to the story in Mark where Jesus withered the fig trees for the crime of "not having fruit when it wasn't the season for fruit".

The story of the fig tree presents a problem, a knot to unravelled. Working at the problem alone and with others stands near the heart of Hasidic faith.

unsafe says ---Cause GeoFee says he has the Holy Spirit indwelling in him and Buddha or some other deity can't give you the indwelling of the Holy Spirit only the one true God of Abraham --Isaac and Jacob can give one the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and that happens when one Receives Jesus as their Lord and Saviour ----
