Quote from Waterfall's Post
In our lives,
we should aim to reflect the heart of Jesus--- through our humility, love, self sacrifice and compassion for others
unsafe says ----Jesus was fully human but He was also fully Divine -----The heart of Jesus was Pure ---it was peaceful ---it was humble -----His heart was Spiritual ----He took and acted on instructions from His Father doing His Will not humans will -----
The heart of us Humans is not pure --not peaceful ---not humble and not spiritual -----our heart is corrupt ----- so how can we really aim to reflect the True Heart of Jesus from our human deceitful heart ----
The only way to aim to reflect the heart of Jesus is to have God in us ------

Love
13 I may speak in the languages of humans and of angels. But if I don’t have love, I am a loud gong or a clashing cymbal.2 I may have the gift to speak what God has revealed, and I may understand all mysteries and have all knowledge. I may even have enough faith to move mountains. But if I don’t have love, I am nothing.
3 I may even give away all that I have and give up my body to be burned.[a]But if I don’t have love, none of these things will help me.

What does it mean to have compassion for others?
Compassion literally means “to suffer together.” Among emotion researchers, it is defined as the feeling that arises when you are confronted with another's suffering and feel motivated to relieve that suffering .Compassion is not the same as empathy or altruism, though the concepts are related.

The Holy Spirit indwelling in us is the only one who can show us the real heart of Jesus--- in my opinion -----we humans can try to imitate the heart of Jesus but we will fail miserably in our quest to show ---humility, love, self sacrifice and compassion these are a Heart issue and without a change of heart we can't begin to come close to succeeding ------ Saved People have to be on guard all the time to keep the flesh at bay we need God's Grace to help us resist and stay humble --- our Human Ego is very powerful and will feed itself with selfish motives to puff ourselves up -----
New Living Translation
2 Corinthians 12:7
even though I have received wonderful revelations from God. But to keep me from getting puffed up, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from getting proud.
