Cynicism is a poignant process ... why the untouched don't like it ... causes one to ponder: "Y did they reflect that?"

It is because from within the system you can't see your emotional errs ... one must step outside a bit ... and thus the need for somnolence ... assists the sentient process ... and one suffers apostolic sense like stepping into a whole thing ... the other 99?

Two upended s'x's can create a third 6 and thus the devil must be tended too ... a product of abstract value?

Pr. jae. If you really want one, I am betting there are ipods or walkmans available for free or next to it, on line.

Pinga - for real free? Cuz I've seen a number of scams in the past - Free, just pay shipping and handling.

I have given away ipods from our household to others. I threw a Walkman into the value village box the other week.
If you truly don't have and can't afford, why not make it known that you would love an old ipod from someone if they have one just sitting doing nothing.

I'm too shy. Maybe I'll ask my family for one for Father's Day. It's coming up :)

You're not to shy to name it here. Maybe one of our WonderCafe friends has an old one hanging around...or can consider it if they do an upgrade.

Or just don't buy an overpriced Apple product iPod. My wife uses a nice, cheap little Panasonic MP3 player called a GoGear and I'm sure there are some cheaper ones than that. Hipstreet stuff isn't great quality but runs $19-$45 and if you're not a audiofile, just a casual listener or looking for something for when you're exercising, it would probably do.

Yes, you are right. I was using the term iPod....but I dont' have one either. I just listen to tunes I have put on my phone, but, lots of gear will work.

Same here. I have never owned an MP3 player of any stripe since I've had a smartphone. The music player on my BB and now on my Galaxy has been more than adequate and now that I can get Spotify and Google Play Music on the Galaxy as well, I have a fair bit of choice, too.

Of course, d'oh! The smartphone. Now I do have one of those :)

My wife has a trainer and has been exercising quite regularly.

As the household cook I am given lists of foods that her dietician passes on to her. So we have made several subtle changes. We have made fish a regular part of our diet (2x per week). We actually bought smaller plates to celebrate being empty nesters which is a psychological assist.

I'm down 40 lbs since December 1 and that is simply by changing diet and plate size.

Biggest change is dumping juice. While I am not a fan of bottled water I have found some flavoured waters which I like as much as most juices I used to drink. I'm still not a fan of the amount of recyclables that produces but I cannot argue that the change has contributed to a health benefit.

For the record she eats Salmon and may vary that with some trout. I tend to stick with Cod and I have to say that while I am not yet a master of pan-fried cod I'm getting fairly proficient at it.

[QUOTE="BetteTheRed, post: 119592, member: 47" It's an easy time to add an (extra) half hour walk to your daily routine. If you're anti-walking, pro-learning, you put an educational podcast on your musical device before you head out.[/QUOTE]
Easy for some, not so easy for others. My safe exertion levels are pretty limited lately.

Yes chemgal, you do have activity limitations. I think Bette was speaking directly to Jae.

way to go Rev. John. 40 lbs is a good loss. Do you notice the difference?

Sorry. Had a rougher week and a bit. Feeling frustrated being so worn out doing so little. Was at the mall today and I needed a long nap after. Yesterday was a total rest day.
