The article says he specifically mentioned Congress certifying the vote so that's a pretty clear acceptance of the result.

Except he holds some very top secret information and he shouldn't be trusted to hold it.
Also, can he pardon the "terrorists"? Left the way he is right now he is a sitting president with all of the powers intact.

If they are picked up on federal charges, yes. State charges can't be pardoned by the president, something he may find out the hard way if I tries the "resign early so Pence can pardon me" gambit.

Assuming tonight's concession was the payment for not using the 25th, only impeachment can get him out early now. But who knows what is going on behind the scenes in the White House.
 
I saw the speech on YouTube. Looked like he was straining to be presidential; not exactly an Academy Award-level performance. I also noted he refused to say to whom he would transfer power, that has my spidey senses a bit tingly.

Although the bodies of Wells, Russell and Huxley have long since rotted away, their rotten ideas continue to animate their disciples like Sir Henry Kissinger, George Soros, Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Lord Malloch-Brown (whose disturbing celebration of the Coronavirus as a golden opportunity to finally restructure civilization) should concern any thinking citizen. The idea of a “Great Reset” expounded by these modern mouthpieces of history’s bad ideas should turn the stomach of any moral being.
 
There's a right wing social media site called Parler, that a lot of Trump supporters migrated to instead of Twitter - founded by Rebekah Mercer. She and her father are super wealthy far right wing funders like the Kochs, and they had something to do with Steve Banon working for Trump. They are also Breitbart funders.

I've never looked at it, but it's supposedly a "free speech" safe space for MAGA people.

That’s stupid. Of course Hitler was right in the way he manipulated the youth, it was a well thought through system. Not sure in which context she said that, and definitely Hitler shouldn’t be an example for politics, but if you take it at an objective level, she is right. She also said “ our children are propagandized”. So it depends what she means by that. Trump supporters certainly are not children ( age wise- developmentally - yes).
There was a commentary somewhere where it was said the Republicans are at the cross roads where they have to decide if they like the populism Trump was riding on ( as was Hitler) as a legacy or if they return to the values of democracy. If someone says “ out children are manipulated” that doesn’t sound like she was agreeing to the tactics.
 
Trump may set a greatest record ... potentially, doubly impeached ... really peachy in his mind!

The election was not stolen ... Trump lost it ... in some political definitions this is insane and leads to stoned reputations.

The saying is: "lock Ur up, lochurup!"

As such goes that is the greater psyche ... departed!

Did you know that in massive traditions the psyche part is denied! So the myth goes ... what's left is dense ... that's the dirt on past essence ... heavenly fallout? Scientists in the field of gravity state that some 100 MM Tons of stardust fall on the earth everyday!

Some of it apparently sub atomic particles emanating from the sun ... dais in and deis out ... as a spelling slip! Some even suffer the sun's troke ... fair trade of light vs dark!

Words too may unfold or refold and defoliate ... revealing the rye soul ... additional complexity in the integral ... enough to crank heads and hedonism! A pleasant ism ... neck stretching vision?

Imagine the vision from the abstract side ... not possible if from the absolute ... predeterminate? (vs prescience ... look-see?)

Certainly reading that lots of pressure is being put on him to resign. And lots written about how any legacy or influence he was going to have is now gone. As well s the idiot kids. Video of them all at the rally encouraging the violence and cheering it on. Until it was too late

also reading about loss of opportunities for those who were egging him on Cruz and Hawley in particular
 
It is reported that some voted for Trump over democracy ... what is expected when the republic demeans the general populace that includes demos (common folk that we see evolves into demons)!

Biden does not think the 25th amendmendmet should be enacted nor should Trump be impeached. He wants to deal with whats at hand and just get to work I guess. He's sort of in a bind because I think he doesnt want to disenfranchise half the nations concerns. He stresses unity is important and really he has to play his cards right by not looking like he contributed to the "glorious leader" being done in by the new president. A thin wire to walk.
That being said it really seems the fastest way to solve this is to convince Trump to resign and what benefits he would reap from it. Maybe give him a 5 minute platform to say its his choice and allow him to say further whatever he wants.
25th Amendment will not get him out before Biden takes office and neither will impeachment.
Its really a tough call but there has to be a solution towards resolution with an "Art of a Deal".
And perhaps somewhere down the line a law needs to be created that doesnt allow a president to continue to reek havoc with no faster solution than what they have now.

I just listened to a talk show host (Evan Solomon’s Friday replacement, Jamil …?) interviewing an American journalist and what the journalist says he is hearing is that the mob was looking specifically for Mike Pence on Jan 6 and planned to hang him from the Capitol. Because of this and maybe more, Nancy Pelosi is meeting with security? pentagon? and is pushing to the greatest degree possible that Trump be watched at all times and removed from any situation where he can push buttons (as in nuclear) or make phone calls to someone who would trigger another event.
