TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

I just listened to a talk show host (Evan Solomon’s Friday replacement, Jamil …?) interviewing an American journalist and what the journalist says he is hearing is that the mob was looking specifically for Mike Pence on Jan 6 and planned to hang him from the Capitol. Because of this and maybe more, Nancy Pelosi is meeting with security? pentagon? and is pushing to the greatest degree possible that Trump be watched at all times and removed from any situation where he can push buttons (as in nuclear) or make phone calls to someone who would trigger another event.

Wow. That being said, it's very plausible isn't it.

I guess we see what happens as the investigation proceeds

When I heard Trump's speech promising a smooth transition, I thought that he had finally been scared nearly to death that the law would be coming for him (doesn't he have blood on his hands now?) and he was trying to distance himself from sedition charges or worse. Then I see that he is back on twitter and he doesn't sound scared, not at all remorseful, just regrouping for the next charge.

No clues involved in his view!

Is that a good thing, in that it reduces the power of the Republican Party - puts the future of the party in doubt after years of their increasingly weird antics? Or is it a bad thing because now the US has a bunch of far right conspiracy theorists with common, disinformed, political views - that have been legitimized by this administration (of Trump) - and people waiting in the wings to "lead" them, by using them to leverage their own ambition for power? (Knowing how easily "led" they are?)

He's had his Twitter account suspended indefinitely now.

He doesn't know the meaning of remorseful. If he's showing remorse it's an act only.

Irionically, there are a bunch of Trump supporters on Twitter, swearing off ever voting for the GOP again.

I saw a commentator say his followers are going to feel he stabbed them in the back after that speech. Now we're seeing that come to pass. It's a concern that they are out there in the dark recesses of the web and social media.

You are one of his followers ... how did his speech make you feel?

I am not a trump follower.

I would have figured YOU would have been following his words more closely.

What did you think of his speech?
Why would you think that I would follow his words more closely than I would follow any other scripted player in this political theatre event for the socially engineered masses. I am not a statist ... the show is going on with or without my approval. That you all follow it as if it were anything other than a mass psychological experiment ... no matter how much evidence of that anyone like myself will try to inject into the discourse keeps me curious at best ... I have no stake in the outcome. Agorism and counter economics are where my interests really are.
