TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

Oh yeah. And it was Trump. The president himself - who suggested to people that they vote twice - mail in and in person - and see what works. Fortunately, ballots have a bar code or serial number on them and the one that makes it to counting first gets counted first. The second one would not be counted, is what I read. But that comment he made to supporters was corrupt. I can't believe a president of the United States said that to the public. He's the one casting doubt on the integrity of the elections. Trump himself. It's not the Dems. Use your logic @Inannawhimsey

It must be a frightening time for Americans.
It very much sounds to me that he is hoping to increase his votes for him that way. I am just surprised that there is not a strong reaction that the officials say clearly that everyone who tries to vote twice will be reported and accused of attempting to commit a crime.

Is it possible for the rich and powerful to contain such data for long periods of avoi Dense ... hard powers?

Thus it went by in dark form ... shadowy! May be partly iron or iron-neigh ... close to virtual!

It shows him to be the sleeze most people already think he is

but

it won’t change a thing

the 45% who vote republican love him. They like that he tosses s**t around. They like that he doesn’t act presidential

annd the rest of the world has always thought he was a con man and a sleeze

but it will give the democrats some good lines for the debate this week. And it will get under his skin. Again, the people who vote for him won’t care

and we need to be realistic. That means around 100 million people in the USA are willing to over look obvious character flaws And vote for a moron

Since he only got 63 million votes or so (still less than Hillary Clinton received) the 100 million figure may be a bit of a stretch. Still, you point is valid.

Just another nail in the coffin for democracy......welcome to the USA....where the A will soon stand for Autocratic if Trump is allowed to continue ruling.

True RedBaron, it isn’t 100 million. But the number is strange ring. Twice as many people voted for trump as our population if Canada. People like him. Hard to figure

If “Did Not Vote” Had Been A Candidate In The 2016 US Presidential Election, It Would Have Won By a Landslide

November 13, 2016

As a percentage of eligible voters, Clinton received 28.43% (65,845,063) of all votes compared to Trump’s 27.20% (62,980,160) and Did Not Vote’s 44.37% (102,731,399). Did not votes

I think there were people who liked his gregarious showmanship. I can't believe they trusted it for POTUS though. He was a neon frankenstein - can't look away from it - but so obviously dangerous. I'm still angry they let him near the elections there, the first time, and that there isn't a more rigorous process for who is allowed to run and how they get vetted.

Yep, and you see what “ did not vote” got them.
Voting is symbolically signing on to what those people will do in your name. And given that the outcome will likely be profoundly unlike what you would do in your own name ...

QUOTE:
…We are utterly out of all Hopes of this Party or the other party, of this Man or that Man, to bring Salvation unto this Nation, from all its Bonds and Oppressions; for we known, whatsoever men profess to do, yet they cannot perform any good Thing, nor Rule for God in our Nation, till that themselves be reformed and ruled by, and have the Spirit of God poured upon them for such a Work: And this we declare, Till that a man, or men, be ruled of the Lord, they can never rightly rule for God, nor bring Deliverance and Freedom to an oppressed Nation….
And we are not for Names, nor Men, nor Titles of Government, nor are we for this Party, nor against the other, because of its Name and Pretence; but we are for Justice and Mercy, and Truth and Peace, and true Freedom, that these may be exalted in our Nation; and that Goodness, Righteousness, Meekness, Temperance, Peace and Unity with God, and one with another, that these things may abound, and be brought forth abundantly: such a Government are we seeking and waiting for, wherein Truth and Righteousness, Mercy and Justice, Unity and Love, and all the Fruits of Holiness may abound; and all the contrary be removed, cast out, and limited….
— Edward Burrough (early Quaker leader and evangelist), To the Present Distracted and Broken Nation, and to all her Inhabitants… (1659)

Kimmio, the Republican Party chose this man as their candidate. According to the Republican party, in 2016 and 2020, THIS is the BEST that they can produce as a candidate. That's the part that puzzles me.
Yes, I thought after 2012, when they came up with Mitt the Twit and Lyin' Ryan, that the Republicans had at last reached the bottom of their barrel. I honestly couldn't imagine them getting any lower. But didn't they surprise me in 2016......

Romney looks positively presidential in comparison.

I always thought Reagan was the low point, personally, until this one, anyway. I don't think that hiring actors/TV stars is such a good idea. At least the usual lawyers are assumed to have a decent level of education. It's one thing to graduate at the bottom of the class in a "business program"; it's quite another to try and pass a bar exam.

Frankly, Yo-Sem-Might Sam seems at times more Presidential than the current buffoon-in-chief.

He's a narcissistic a**hole with next to no conscience. That's all it takes, apparently, to be a fascist leader. Just childish bull in a china shop who pulls tantrums and stunts when he doesn't get his way. It's like he's breaking his toys when he breaks democracy. Then he tries to steal everybody else's.

The worst part are his cheerleaders working against their own interests. I'd be quite happy if he went back to being a reality TV star, and a real estate hustler. His social circles were other narcissistic money hustlers and attention seekers. Those were good jobs for him. He contained his damage to that world. Now, he's hurting the whole world.
