The U.S. is history - and much of it false. it is run, as it always has been from the start, by the super wealthy as represented by people like Trump and Biden. Among major nations, the U.S. is one of the worst in not giving a damn about it's own people. It has always been that way. George Washington had no interest in democracy. He led in the American revolution because he wanted to slaughter to whole aboriginal population so he could steal their land. (He was, perhaps, the biggest landowner in the U.S. at a time when land ownership was the key to wealth.)
The British, no slouches at mass murder and theft of land, didn't want a mass murder of aboriginals. That was not kindness. That was because the British did not want to get involved in a war that was of no value to the British.
The U.S. today is one of the worst countries in the world for treatment of its own people - the poor ones. Huge areas of income are very low and always have been. Medical care scarcely exists. Living standards in the U.S. have been dropping for generations.
The U.S. is now heading into severely low income groups. Almost all of it's governments exist only to serve the super rich. We are now an age of severe plundering of the middle class and the poor - and the service of the unlimited greed of the very rich.
We are going to see high, very high violence and profound suffering by greed running loose.
It will be made worse by Trump's evangelicals who lust for the 'last days' when they and only they will go to heaven.
It's beyond greed and cruelty. It's collossal ignorance and stupidity. And Canada is it's hand maiden.
