Having a black president oppose reparations does not help the cause, particularly when that black president makes the case that an important source of black disadvantage is black folk’s own behavior. But black America should have paid attention to the experience of post-colonial black Africa and the Caribbean; leaders who look like you do not necessarily act in ways that benefit you. So be it. The struggle for reparations—and for black lives and justice—must and will continue, with or without Barack Obama in the fold.

I'm suggesting that most 12 steppers are, in fact, believers, given that a premise of their system is submission to a Higher Power.
Have you read it? Or looked into it? Its purpose is to move from a mindset of fear (where many of us spend of lot of time) to a mindset of love and forgiveness. There's a lot of emphasis on putting aside ego, a lot of present moment mindfulness, etc.
You need to get out a bit, blackbelt. There isn't a bogey man around every question/corner.

yes I had the book, read it with all sorts of other books like the Uranta book another demonically inspired book, read it in my 40s before my born again experience, it is demonically inspired, and bty even satan is an angel of light and can speak about love.

It struck me a while ago, that for about 150 years a certain strain of Christianity tried to describe a figure called the 'Antichrist'; a smooth talking shyster who would 'fool the very elect', like the anti-hero of a bad 60's pop romantic ballad. Then, of course, when someone who fit that description to a T showed up, that same strain of Christianity voted for him, and continue to support him, no matter what.
I read someone on Twitter (on T’s feed - Americans who don’t like Trump aren’t afraid to let him know...have you read it? Sometimes it cheers me up) say it less eloquently, but it made me lol. They were responding to a Trump supporter who posted a religious message, and they said, “You guys went on and on about watching out for the Antichrist, and when he actually showed up, you voted for the mutherfrucker.”
I don’t think the antichrist is a person, it’s a mindset among human beings generally that we grapple with...however, it’s crossed my mind, too.
