Here's a horrible fact I heard today. Worldwide, there are 68 million persons displaced by war, famine, persecution. That's a LOT of people.

Once we start seeing climate refugees as a result of rising sea levels, things are going to get increasingly precarious for an increasing number of people, I fear.

"Climate refugees" Bette? Oppressed by the climate? Who would qualify for such a status? Have never considered that possibility.
 
The world, to safeguard ourselves, might just have to quarantine the USA...until its citizens can become less polarized, like that PEW report showed...when people can't even think from someone elzez pov and some of these people r vitally involved in the functioning of the world...*shudder*

A vast Unobtanium barrier around USA followed by lots of mental health angels able to psychotherapy and teach meditative techniques?

(funny thot: maybe that is what is happening worldwide anyway as the worldz natural immune system gets into gear...)

Good grief Charlie Brown doff ... could it be someone stuck on the initial part of the down curve where denial is common?

This curve may be part of that unknown ... called imagination ... and thus it couldn't have existed ... no space force to get there ... tis a trump spatial item in the far out extent ... extremes of polity? Perhaps once known as Ptolemaic ... tole EM before ... wasn't heard in the silence my ... friend! Silence? Nothing to it ... obscured by rackets of the active mind ... too well stirred and agitated ... as fear and anger separate nothing ... into fear and anger parts! Both appear to be dark and a driving force to exile thought, knowledge and the quest ... for what? Indeterminate at present due to the lack of light in the dark situation we've got ourselves into ...

IT is out there as a ode to something not gathered as yet ... some mechanics involved in the irregular cloak in of time ... get into it ... Timeas is ide ... that intangible myth carrying us alone and impacting history ... depending on your ups and downs ... comedy of errs, or tragic humor about how could they have possible have gotten into null state ... can't imagine anything gone the other way ...
 
The quest for the impossible ... but given a vast eternal stretch ... can you extend that far? Tis a dark Zoan ...

What's a Zoan? ... alien word construct as a composite ... thus the go an son ... the flash of impulse from IT=MV --- Newton?

Gotta be more to wit ... funny linguistic! Tis owed something for the exchange! O'Deis was a intro gin horse? Spirit to carry ... beers up ... a bit frothy with holes ... inflationary energy ... legacy? That's what is inherited without history laid out ... upright lairs exceptional extraction?

Unlikely ... give it time ... could take a lifetime or more if you don't gather mythological stuff and filter ...

Do some people reject that the unknown exists ... know-it-all's? They don't attend it ... so expired ... it isn't as metaphor of incarnate understanding "appears as isn't" ... relax it is only abstract art ... creation with something missing ... life as it is ... devoid? Something to be experienced so as to know how it is without thought and continuous wisdom ... as nothing-to-it when occupied in the big house ... tisn't well seen from here as dark beyond!

You can really make something of it ... and grandfather clause giggle at the potential ... as story that riffles and rift's pace ... word ego in ... and remember egotism is differing from egoism ... and eros ... the vessel ... that's the roe ... staggering seed of thought ... Is quarantine ... like putting the US in an isolated whole from the unified world that appears to be against EM? EM & end in self structured disposition ... thus dissociation ... as in ions in a vacuum ... as a word is cumin spicy enough for consumption and satisfaction of stray kneads ... a poke 've Satyr that some say is de Mon Charon ...

Rising sea levels could displace entire countries or significant enough portions that the rest of the country couldn't accommodate the displacees. Look at places like the Philippines, and some countries that are very coastal, like Korea. s**t, look at NYC, but the U.S.A will have plenty of spots not underwater. Wondering how the Brooklynites will make out in Oklahoma...

Not to mention people displaced by wars over dwindling supplies of water or arable land, which could become a reality in some regions.
