It's not just the KKK - it's European and Russian neo-nazis (which it could be argued have an even stronger presence in the world) and conspiracy theorist like Alex Jones, too.I'm sure they will take care of that. The KKK have literally developed their own language in order to avoid detection and spreading out into other groups is just another exercise for confusion.
That's the standard trick of the left. Label everybody you hate a racist.
Hate is hate.I think he means this:
Inside the anti-racist movement that brings the fight to white supremacists
Again, this is a progressive left magazine - established in 1976- writing this investigative interview/ expose.
And how are they different? It's not just the KKK - it's European and Russian neo-nazis and conspiracy theorist like Alex Jones, too.
What smoke is that Pontifex?
Yep. And violence is violence. Especially organized "offensive" violence (vs. self defence).Hate is hate.
i have known about the rise of the alt-right, and read things from the Southern Poverty Law Centre for some time. Since before Trump was elected. I didn't know what to call it until Clinton said "alt-right" but something was going on - the anarchists seemed to have been infiltrated by some people with ugly ideas and were spreading them online and I couldn't understand it. It picked up over the last few years. And quite a few "hipsters" were all of a sudden really sexist, racist and demeaning the concept of social justice - and it confused me. And I knew that neo-naziism and white nationalism were on the rise in Europe and that Putin was a factor in this because he wants to break up Europe and regain loyalty from former soviet countries instead of them joining the EU. It's all part of the same wicked brew, in the big picture, imo. In terms of the alt-left I have already given a counter argument to that concept, with articles, last night. They could just as easily be called factions of the anarchist left who use violence as a tactic in their "toolkit" which I do not agree with. Again, I think it stems from the fact that using violence against oppressive government is written into their constitution. And both extreme sides think that's what they're doing.
I would argue that the neo nazis in Europe and Russia are even more powerful and disruptive on the whole world stage, that's how. But they are all part of the same alt right ugliness. And how are they different?
I see your point, but not quite. If she plans an aggravated assault on her abuser - it's not a good way to deal with it and although she may have taken more abuse - handling it that way doesn't solve the problem, it creates more problems for her.The situation in Charlottesville reminds me somewhat of an abusive marriage. When the police come, the abuser will be coherent and calm, while the victim is agitated and in distress. The victim ends up looking "crazy" and gets dismissed. Saying that there is blame on both sides is like blaming the victim in an abusive domestic relationship. Yes, there are different ways for the victim to respond. Blaming the victim or claiming "alt-left is violent" lets the abuser off the hook and that is not okay. As Waterfall says, hate is hate.

So you're okay with the white supremacist groups then?
Hey buddy, people are over the liberal political defeat.....you get over it, it's done.
I guess it turns out that smoke is full of THC.@ Pontifex,So let me get this straight, "the truth is given with a clenched fist". In other words you have to use violence to spread the truth because the KKK is unable to stand the comedians and politicians speaking out against them? Last time I looked people are able to show their disapproval to things they don't approve of through words and PEACEFUL protests and the need to blame minority groups is off the table because that leads to segregation and division.
The video you posted only promotes returning violence with violence....that is why we have police and vigilantism is not acceptable.
I'm curious how you line up that message with Jesus'. Care to attempt it?I guess it turns out that smoke is full of THC.
