The US has been funding Muslim terrorist groups starting back with with the russian invasion of Afghanistan in, I think the 1980s.
It has also been funding, equipping and training them all over the middle east. Most of the Syrian 'rebels' against Assad are not syrian at all. They are from Muslim extremist groups. The U.S. created that 'civil' war.
You have to understand that oil is far the world's most valuable mineral. The British murdered large numbers of people to get control of oil in World War 1. That's the story of the romantic "Lawrence of Arabia". US companies have been killing their way through the middle east to get world control of oil. It began with the overthrow of the elected government of Iran over fifty years ago when the American/British invaders created a dictatorship in that country. That greed for the profits of oil is why oil industry leaders lead the way in insisting climate change isn't happening.
If you want villains, they aren't Syrians or Iraqis or Yemenis. They are the murderers we call business leaders. The U.S. has now destroyed stability in the whole region. Those people will never recover. They are being murdered, starved, refugeed to please Trump's fat friends in the business world. Almost every modern war I know of was fought to steal wealth from other countries. That was a major factor in world wars one and two. Ordinary people get tombstones and medals from the taxpayers In fact, they died because of their corporate bosses. And the taxpayers paid the cost of the wars to help the rich avoid taxes.
Forget the bilge about Assad and Syria. I don't know whether Assad is evil. I do know the Bible says Thou shalt not kill - and it does not add "unless the other side is evil."
Forget the personalities. The reality is that the U.S. has, for at least forty years, been the most murderous and thieving country in the world. it is a nation run on pure greed. So, for the most part, is Canada.
I keep waiting for our churches to catch on to that.
And I do know that what is happening in Syria is no business of mine or the U.S.
If you think it is our business, may I suggest we stage an invasion to kill the murderers who control the U.S?
And let's not have any more babbling about what a sweetheart Obama was. He was a killer with the worst of them.
Do owe have the courage to recognize what we have become?
People assume that Saddat has that gas that killed those children. In fact, we don't know. But we do know that some terrorist groups (financed by the U.S.) have it. Almost all the information we are getting is coming from highly prejudiced sources (to put it mildly). And all the reporting is being loaded with prejudicial adjectives and adverbs.
We are being set up.
And please, when you see a newspaper quoting the Syrian Observatory on Human Rights, take the time to find out what that is. It's a propaganda house. And when your news agency quotes it, have the intelligence to be insulted that your news agency is lying to you.
Canadian troops are nearby in Iraq. There is every possibility our boot-licking government will commit them to whatever develops in Syria.
This whole thing is very dangerous. Consider this possibility. The U.S. recognizes that Russia and China are growing faster than it is. It recognizes that if it doesn't go to war now, it will never be able to. So it wants a war with them. Now.
We're not dealing with decent people. We're dealing with the most murderous people in the world - big time business leaders.
