TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

I see God in everything as well. I just don't see miracles in everything.
Last night, I was in our home group and we were discussing dinosaurs. I was missing a lot because I was wanting to discuss miracles. If you take a look at the mass of the universe.
https://people.cs.umass.edu/~immerman/stanford/universe.html
And the mass of all the life that is on the thin exterior layer of this planet.
What are the odds of being roughy 200 lb of that miracle. How can you not be in awe. You could have been a lifeless piece of Pluto and know nothing.

God was showing off. We are infinitely special in the universe. I see miracles in everything.

If you see miracles in everything then what makes it a miracle....doesn't it just become the accepted norm rather than a miracle?

That would be a fourth possibility. I was only dealing with the possibilities associated with Trump himself or Trump Tower actually being wiretapped: Obama did it, Trump lied about it, or the Justice Department had/has something on Trump.

Here's another possibility - Trump is paranoid delusional.

So what would be the criteria to determine if God is "using" Trump for His purpose?

Are the blind receiving sight? Are the lame walking? Are those who have leprosy being cleansed? Are the deaf hearing? The dead being raised? Is good news being proclaimed to the poor?

Did Trump get rid of those bullets now that he's in a position to do so? Or did he increase military spending?

I'm not the boss of Donald Trump, or God. I'm just an observer who likes to post observations. My observation is that the election of Trump has caused a lot of irrational response because of mind manipulation that is low on fact, high in hate.

If these babies who didn't get their way, don't stop throwing tantrums and accept the results of the election and start working for the common good. Graeme will turn out to be the ultimate prophet onWC2.

Do you see God as evil as well?
I do not see God as evil. I do see God as present when evil is happening. I have myself felt strengthened by God when facing what I would describe as evil. If God is not present when we face evil, then why bother with faith?

I am in awe of all that you describe. However, me being in awe of something does not make it a miracle. If everything is a miracle, then either there are no miracles, or miracles are rather meaningless.

First, religion is the tool manipulating minds here. People have used religion to convince people to reject empirical observations in favour of a story in an old book.

Second, you can't take emotional outbursts out of context here. Think of all the irrational "birther" claims about Barack Obama. Think about the claims of "death panels" supposedly in Obamacare. There have always been irrational responses, and the left does not own them. Far from it.

Third, Trump himself is low on fact, high on hate. This is what he's selling. He is selling fear. Some Christians also sell fear, and maybe that's the connection between Christians and Trump - they fear the same things. Or more likely, Trump is using common Christian fears to his advantage.

Trump won the election. Trump, expecting to lose, was crying about a rigged election long before any ballots had been counted. You can't denounce election "tantrums" while you're siding with the guy who staged a preemptive tantrum.

What happens next is I reiterate that Nate Silver at 538.com gave Trump a 28% chance of winning the election. Not the popular vote, because his chances of winning that were far lower, but the election. So yes, people were expecting a Hillary win. But people don't understand statistics. As I wrote above, he had about the same chance of winning as an average major league batter has of reaching base safely.

Because people don't understand statistics, they all shouted that, "Nate says Hillary will win!" Because Trump doesn't understand statistics, he'll tell everyone how he pulled off a miracle. Well, no.

I was nervous heading into election night. Like a team down one with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th, with runners on second and third, Trump was in with a chance. His odds were about the same as that team winning the game.

I've seen the same thing from the Trump supporters. People who can't discuss. People who used to be able to discuss for the record, and now resort to name calling and blocking when faced with different views. These are people who are willing to blame the "Fake Media" rather than use any critical thinking skills. I see mind manipulation that is low on fact and high in hate as well......coming from "the right". (whatever that is really)

Dismissing people who have real concerns and fears as babies throwing temper tantrums shuts down any proper discussion, and contributes to the polarization. Throwing out clips from questionable speakers also does that. How about real discussion without mockery.
