Trump was given a 28% chance of victory before the election by 538.com. That's about the same odds as a major league batter hitting safely in one at bat. Not probable, but also not a long shot.

Subtle hints of understatement and I detect flavour hints of . . .bemusement.

I offer a fourth outcome just because buffets are better with more choices.

4) Investigation turns up that wiretaps were placed on Russian targets and not Trump, Trump Tower or Team Trump. Why are so many, so close to Trump showing up in recorded phone conversations with Russian targets? Well, that is a rather interesting question isn't it.

I can empathize, if so many in my household were being revealed to have not only been in conversation with somebody but willing to lie about that contact I'd be wondering what the heck was going on under my roof. Still you have to wonder why the outrage is not directed at all those who had contact and lied about it rather than those who have now proved that the contact was rather constant?

And there are plausible grounds for contact which most in the know admit.

Proving that the scandal isn't actually the constant contact so much as it is the willingness to lie, under oath, about that contact.

You'd think the most intelligent cabinet in history would be able to grasp something that has become cliche.
 
Or otherwise odd path ... to dig a niche that we could call abysmal? This could reflect on the unknown, shadow character ... somewhat funny in a bloody immaterial way ...

Didn't Moses do this in the face of God ... the absolute ALL? Gives room for all a'gory tales we encounter in life ... thus we must auger through ... as in the auger-ism, sometimes referred to as the-auger-logos ... boring words to those with not a wit of curiosity about other things ...

That would be a fourth possibility. I was only dealing with the possibilities associated with Trump himself or Trump Tower actually being wiretapped: Obama did it, Trump lied about it, or the Justice Department had/has something on Trump.

I thought she was going to win pretty easily too. That still doesn't make Trump's win a "miracle." It was a predictable but unlikely outcome. Did it defy the odds? Yup. Frankly if I buy a lottery ticket and get enough matches to win a free ticket that also defies the odds - because the large majority of people who buy lottery tickets don't even win free tickets - but it's no miracle. Why can't you just admit that you're exaggerating the point a bit by using the word miracle?

So what would be the criteria to determine if God is "using" Trump for His purpose?
 
A miracle is when God intervenes to make something happen that would not have otherwise happened. You are welcome to deny the power of God whenever you want. Seems miraculous to me, but I see God in everything.
 
I can tell you that Obama, bought a pile of bullets and some in congress were very concerned they were for use against the American people. The only people you would need that many bullets against are second amendment people. So Trump, may well be what God has installed to avoid a civil war.
