There is no choice in the U.S. election. Hillary has a murderous record, and is bankrolled by the extremely wealthy who want more wars. They want to conquer the world. They made that public 20 years ago in The New American Century. She also endorses (as does Obama) the concept of American Exceptionalism - now a standard belief in both parties - that the U.S. has the right to ignore all international law and directives. It's a revival of the old Manifest Destiny.
Hillary is greedy, utterly without moral principles, and has been bought. She's extremely dangerous because she is working for those who actually are looking for a nuclear war.
Trump is mentally ill - among other faults. But he has not a chance of winning, any way. Hillary's campaign fund is now something like a hundred times bigger than Trump's.
Anyone who would vote for either of them is a fool. And if large numbers of Canadians would vote for Hillary, they are fools.
The U.S. is a nation in which the greed of its economic and political leaders has driven them mad.
Our best hope now is a complete breakdown of American society - which could well happen.
I'm surprised by the cheering for Dr. Khan's patriotic defence of his son. What his son did was to go to war quite illegally against a nation that had in no way threatened the U.S. And there, the U.S. killed well over a million people, about half of them children. That is not my idea of heroism.
It's interesting, I suppose, to find a Muslim that ignores his faith and obeys patriotism. That's what all those German and Italian Christians did in 1939. Nor can I admire the heroism of American pilots who carpet bombed cities in Laos and Cambodia, sprayed Agent Orange on Vietnam and dropped napalm.
The U.S. is rushing to disaster whether it elects Hillary or Trump. And we live next door. And we have a weak prime minister who was foolish enough to send troops to eastern Europe to be part of an American-controlled force to provoke a war with Russia. If such a war happens, all those Canadians will be dead within minutes of the start.
