There was an article about him wanting to end social security, but that he only spoke privately about it because he knows it would cost him votes... Nobody really knows where he stands, that's a bigger problem than his blustery and entertaining persona.

Which has.nothing to do with the cynicism of that gawker article (gawker make money off of bullying innocent pèople). Gawker took the interpretation of Trump being a crazy clown. Thats ok. I took the same information and tried to see anothsr interpretation based on the.facts.

I read that article also and was not clear on how fixing the price would fix the drought problem...I mean, if the reservoirs dry up, they dry up. You can't turn cash into water. Unless, what the author means is driving up the price so that water is purchased as needed and not wasted - the price being a deterant any for waste. But, there is a danger in that (if that is what it means) - in places like Detroit people can't afford to buy tap water. This could happen in California. The idea that some won't have water to drink because they can't afford it, while those with enough money will, does not seem like any sort of solution.
 
Some genius engineer should build pumps with built in water purifiers that pumps water from flooded areas to drought areas. When the water reaches a certain line the system automatically pumps it where needed. Into pipelines, water trucks, something like that. But I am just a daydreamer not an engineer, so...
 
In Diablo Canyon they turn seawater into fresh water to cool the nuclear reaction there ...

The same as they do in Saudi Estates ... creating some portions of even saltier floes ... as happens when something fresh blows through a man ... someone salts and preserves it like a fish, or as sole! So the same process can't be copied - for a different purpose - to provide drinking water? And I read that the aquafiers in the ME are some of the greatest wonders of the world. They provide water to multitudes of people living in desert. And where does the water for Nevada come from - Las Vegas? Arizona, New Mexico deserts? Maybe there are solutions. The thing about Trump is you don't really know if he has any. He just says whatever his particular supporters want to hear. "Hey don't worry 'bout it...we'll get it done."

The latest news came out about Trump University - the marketers/ recruiters were told to manipulate peoples' emotions to achieve 'tuition' sales. That's how he's run his campaign for votes.

I wish the media had the courage and commitment to the public interest to just quit covering Trump. I also wish those people making fun of him and attacking him would desist for about 3 weeks. They are helping solidify his hold on the angry segment of the American population.
 
Well, Trump's anti-Muslim side just got a boost. Be interesting to see what the Christian anti-LGBT side says, if anything.

I would have loved to see how Cruz would handle this. Trump actually has it easy because he's never been particularly anti-gay but has been vocally anti-Muslim so he can just keep preaching to the choir. Someone like Cruz who is vocally anti-LGBT, by contrast, would have to walk the line between condemning the violence and not sounding too sympathetic to the victims.

In other news: a church my wife attends has started locking its doors during sermons...Ive talked to @ least 5 congregants who think that is stupid...the organizer seems to be an ex cop who is always exuding authority n seems to be the Head of Security now with walkie talkie n at least 4 other people...ive thought aboot asking him if had thwarted some evildoers but im having trouble with my reaction to his everon authority field

One of his latest moves was to ban the Washington Post's press access to him. He's said "Don't worry. If I'm president, I'll let you back in." He's just mind boggling. But then again, not. His agenda is pretty transparent, actually. What's mind boggling is that he got this far.
 
The polls are not looking good for The Donald right now. His decision to hunker down and revert to his old ways after flirting with being more mainstream appears to be hurting more than it is helping.
