For those with Biblical insight, does it not seem that Trump is at least a little like King Herod in the days of Jesus? The rich and proud segment of the population supported Herod. They resisted and rejected Jesus. Why? Because Herod supported economies of power and profit. Those economies were exploitive and oppressive to the poor and broken in the land. It is these persons whom Jesus blessed with the grace of God. All while making it clear that the rulers of the land were in deep need of repentance.

More than a little. The problem is that the opposition to Trump does not have their Jesus yet. Biden is really just a more friendly Pharisee (as you yourself have pointed out). Removing Trump in favour of Biden fixes some immediate problems (like the US government aligning with the radical right), but still leaves the elites pretty much as is and opens the door to another Trump/Herod down the road. Movements like BLM and similar show there is desire for some change, but a "Jesus" who can be both leader and spokesman for that desire still remains elusive. Bernie tried hard but even he is probably too mired in the political elites to really challenge the "Pharisees" of the 21st century. It really needs to come from someone outside the political, religious, and other establishments.

No, Trump is the first president since Reagan who does not reject Jesus.

Biden will (if elected) be impeached for all the reasons that Trump was illegitimately impeached for. Hunter was the bag man for the Biden family. They took millions from Russia, China and Ukraine. And they have all the evidence. Big tech companies are suppressing the news and canceling those who speak out on their platforms.

They only need Biden till after he hopefully wins the election and then they can take him off life support, or let him go to jail. But the truth is being hidden for now, because there is no way moderates would vote for Harris. But right after the election, he will be thrown to the dogs by the Democrats.

She is going to support taking away guns, that the second amendment was designed to allow citizens to protect themselves from a government gone crazy. Which is where this Marxist world government is heading.

So pretty guaranteed internal war, freedom against slavery. The left gets quite a few things wrong by a fair margin. Even with all the media, owned by those people you say Trump works for, I think there are more people who have woken up since 2016.

So if Trump wins in biggley way. He could put off the demise of an empire for generations.

I suppose that it's your anti-Catholic prejudice that has the Catholic Democratic candidate, "rejecting Jesus"?

Not the "right kind" of Christian? Show me where Jesus was as exclusionary as you seem to be?

He doesn’t know much about Jesus, but is not opposed. That’s how all Christians start out. He is surrounded by a lot of mature Christians.
Like Paula White, Jerry, Jr. and Franklin Graham? Give us a break.

Smoke, smoke, smoke that cigarette;
Puff, puff, puff, and if you smoke yourself to death,
Tell St. Peter at the golden gate
that you hate to make him wait,
but you've got to have another cigarette.

I’m far more comfortable with his childlike acceptance to your deconstructionism.

So who is it so actively involved in deconstructing the US? Who has destroyed the postal system? Trying to delegitimize the vote? Invited the Proud Boys to exercise violent behaviour?, Who has unethically stacked the Supreme Court? In short, who has befouled the swamp he once promised to drain?
Oh, by the way, how has Mexico been doing paying for that wall Trumptydumpty promised to build? ANE WHEN IS HE GOING TO RELEASE HIS TAX RETURNS? WHAT IS HE HIDING? WHAT IS HE SO AFRAID WE'LL FIND OUT ABOUT HIS UNSAVOURY FINANCIAL FINAGALING?

Dream on. Smoke on.
Have a nice day.

He does not reject Christianity. He sees Christians led by millionaire pastors as allies in the pursuit of power. These present Jesus as king of kings. They reject Jesus as advocate for the poor, the lost and the broken. Just as the religious leaders in Herod’s time rejected Jesus.

All this talk about smoke has me in the mood for a wee puff.

Not sure even a "wee puff" could make this election cycle palatable. And if Trump contests, this could drag on, too. I won't consider it over until Inauguration Day which, sadly, is still almost three months away.
