The Trudeaus and the O'Tooles were not 4 weeks away from a very screwed up American election. There's a big difference. Also, you can dislike both of those characters (and neither of them are my favs), without being fairly certain that every second statement they utter is a bald-faced lie.

Well as fact we Know he is 74
he weighs 244 so obese or close to it
we know he has ordinary heart disease for a man of his age( I think that was how the doc phrased it)
we know he has high cholesterol
we know he exercises little ( Trump says he gets enough exercise walking to meetings)
we know he has a bad diet

all risk factors

but he doesn’t smoke or drink and is not diabetic



we posit that his odd little trip to Walter Reed on a Saturday unannounced was possibly related to concerns about mini strokes ( Trumps words)

we also know he will get top notch medical care so that is in his favor

We also know he passed a dementia test several years ago, but doesn’t remember the details about it anymore.

I don't think it's compassionate grounds. Sure, being rich and privileged gives him access to better treatment. Some of the special treatment is because of security concerns and all the stuff that goes with his position.

I have seen a POC (Portable Oxygen Concentrator). We use them at work for people who are travelling or for backup in some situations. They ain't that small. Portable means they are battery-powered and can be hand carried, not that they fit in a pocket.

There is an "over the shoulder" bag for it, but definitely not pocket material (yes, we use this one).

That said, O2 therapy is used to support moderate to severe COVID cases during their illness and recovery. We have been providing it to homebound COVID patients. I think I posted CTV Kitchener's story on our work with COVID patients somewhere upthread. So Trump being on oxygen is not impossible, just that the description Lastpointe provided does not ring true to me. POCs just aren't that small.
