It appears there is a group that is very protective ... like indicating they might be wrong but don't want to leave themselves vulnerable to appearing imperfect ... thus they fight it tooth and nail with angry reactions to cover up their vulnerability!
Follows the theme of Bob Woodward's Fear but no authority would submit to that for fear of appearing objective ... or even obtuse and cloudy to the line of definition between the two types of memes ... few will come to grips with the failure and ths we continue with the same old ... same auld ...

The GOP side had nothing to say but to go after Cohen’s credibility...which everybody knows was shady because he was convicted for the crimes they were hammering him about, already. Who in Trump’s inner circle who knows him that well, whom of his close associates could they get to testify, who isn’t/ hasn’t been particularly shady? Likely nobody. Those people need to testify because they know best how Trump operates!
Cohen said he thinks that if Trump loses in 2020, there will ‘never’ be a peaceful transition of power. That is a major statement. With all his cozying up to despots, and his need to keep his ego inflated constantly, that’s a big worry. It has been a worry even before 2016, about him being elected in the first place...that he would behave like a dictator. He’s such a flaming narcissist he wouldn’t be able to take the loss.
I wonder if the dems will try to go for the 25th amendment or impeachment? And if enough republicans - who may have been trying to save face for the cameras today - will ‘flip their positions’ and join them in either?

Kim, remember what the powers say ... it has to be someone else's fault ... the corruption can't be in high spots ... simply unheard and unseen by the powers due to cracks in their system.
I remain humbly yours ... as nothing there can be nothing corrupt ... thus cracked belles for good stuff to get through ... really upsets the powers like understanding of the up endings of the Beatitudes ... reciprocal relations?

34 people in the Trump orbit have been indicted since Trump took office. 5 of 6 of Trump's advisors have pleaded guilty...and that was the number of people as of January so I don't know if Roger Stone is included.
Somebody in the room today should've said, in response, "34 people have been indicted and 5 Trump advisors have pleaded guilty. Exactly who do you think we should call on to testify, who is a 100% credible witness!?"

Planned Parenthood President Dr. Leana Wen has affirmed the organization’s commitment to providing abortions after she claimed the news media misconstrued her earlier statements about expanding non-abortion services.
Ms. Wen clarified Tuesday that Planned Parenthood’s “core mission” is to provide, protect and expand access to abortion. “We will never back down from that fight — it’s a fundamental human right and women’s lives are at stake,” she tweeted.
Ms. Wen linked to a headline by BuzzFeed News, which she slammed as misleading.
“I am always happy to do interviews, but these headlines completely misconstrue my vision for Planned Parenthood,” the physician wrote.
The article, titled, “Planned Parenthood’s New President Wants To Focus On Nonabortion Health Care,” reported that Ms. Wen was kicking off a five-month listening tour of Planned Parenthood affiliates across the country in order to learn “how best to add or expand nonabortion services that are not normally associated with Planned Parenthood, like treatment for opioid addiction, diabetes management, and mental health counseling.”
Hank Sheinkopf, a veteran Democratic campaign consultant, told BuzzFeed that the focus on non-abortion services signaled political “fatigue.”
“If you publicly project that you’re no longer an advocate but a provider of medical services, the presumption is the bad guys will no longer beat you up because you’re no longer poking a stick in their eyes all the time,” Ms. Sheinkopf said.
Ms. Wen pushed back on the report, declaring Tuesday that abortion is Planned Parenthood’s No. 1 priority.
They also provide free birth control, reproductive health education (and access to medical tests like STD tests and PAP smears) - that is why it is called "Planned Parenthood".
