Imagine your right and left hand competing to prove that one is good and one is not good. Is there not one life animating both hands? Is the cooperation of both hands not necessary to the well being of the body?

Our populations are being played by corporate powers. These hopelessly lost in the restless pursuit of power seeking power which ends in death. This rooted in the metaphors of Eden and the fall of human being, from the good creation of God to the divided world of we are good and others are not good. The world of warfare and bloodshed moving daily deeper into the realm of darkness.

In my experience, the left hand is generally lazy, fumbling around waiting for the right hand to do everything. When you do force it into action, it is quite a spazz at most things the right hand does without even thinking.

True the left hand is better than nothing. But it has no business telling the right hand how to do things.
 
George, the analogy doesn’t work for politics. The far right is an odious force today. The right represents values antithetical to human thriving. I don’t think Jesus would use that analogy for today’s circumstances...though it is always used anyway.
