It does matter. Christians.will try to revise history to say it was all the evangelicals' fault. It wasn't. Trump says some magic words about ending abotion and gets some Christian leaders to say some nice things about him, and suddenly he's presidential material to mainline Protestants and Catholics.

An old acquaintance once said it was only a matter of time...because we haven't disarmed in all these 60 years -that a miscalculation or an accident will happen. And if he sees a mushroom cloud, he's driving towards it. Not funny, yet funny, at the time.

Heard a fella thinking back over our human story. Suggested that the whole range of our experience has been conditioned by an act of disobedience alienating us from our own true human being. Went on to suggest that the whole range of our experience may well be devastated by an act of obedience. We have megalomaniacal leaders in diverse quarters of the planet. All posturing like dogs pissing on poles. My threat is bigger than your threat. An order is given and obeyed. Destruction is launched. Retaliation is necessary. God have mercy on us all.

All while Christian leaders encourage their followers to support temple economies. Those Christian leaders who are complicit with state resort to inhuman means for the obtaining of unjust advantage.

I think that discussion came up a few years ago, last time NK was acting up. I was really scared then. I was even having anxiety, and nausea at work about it...which is when that acquaintance told me that. Weirdly, I'm not as afraid now. I don't know what will happen, but I'm not...at least, I'm less, afraid for some unknown reason. I guess I got my freaking out over with over a period of years of realizing that we have little control of these things as individuals. I do hope humanity, as a whole, pulls through this dark period, too. I really do hope so.

Yet we are considered the creative part of all that is ... other, alternate, or archetype? Resembles Gabriel, possibly Louis Armstrong ... he did have some wise words about sol ...! "If you got non ... ask!"
 
I just read that Trump was talking tough about both south and North Korea - threatening to make the south pay for the missile defence system - meanwhile blustering about NK not respecting China (very interesting...it's not "you upset us"...it's, "you disrespected China" (that ought to perplex both Koreas that he was speaking on behalf of China - I think this is not an off the cuff Trump remark this time) after another failed missile test. Interesting diplomacy tactic :confused:. Not sure what to think...but maybe it'll put some pressure on both koreas to resolve their war with each other - and especially on the North - seeing as Trump is making it seem as though he favours neither of them...but now, as of recent weeks, is friendly with China. It's all so perplexing...who knows?

Some say there is no place like chaos ... not even in the state of mind ... a' sol where thoughtfulness vaporizes in the heat of momentum ... or when an incidental thought strikes an emotional driver ...
 
I think there's some kind of 'leadership' theory floating around out there that suggests that if you create chaos, get all your employees all shaken up and nervous, that you can manipulate them into the change you desire.

From personal experience, I would say this is one of those theories that doesn't pan out in the face of reality.

It's called "Incompetent Boob in the Corner Office Theory", me thinks. :D IOW, it's the theory that lets you claim you have a professional leadership style when you really don't.
 
The line between "unpredictable" and "incompetent" has always been blurry, but Trump really appears to be on the incompetent side of things.
 
Oh, absolutely. He's 'sharp' enough, in that mean, bullying, take-every-advantage sort of style that some people of privilege just seem to assume naturally. But he's got zip in the way of natural intellect. He can't craft his words or his ideas into anything more nuanced than cheap sound bites. The American people deserved better, but got manipulated by their emotions into this lumpy Cheeto-faced pile of crap.

The idea of a leader creating chaos among his subordinates has been around for a long time. Usually it's the sign of paranoia - the idea being that if your underlings are fighting it out with each other, they won't be a threat to you because no one will be able to develop a centre of power of their own. Hitler did it. Goering and Goebbels were always at war with each other, for example. In the Trump White House, mostly it's been Kushner and Bannon going at each other.
 
The thing I find most incredible is the hypocrisy of American Christians who strongly criticized Bill Clinton for his affairs and told the world that Bill Clinton lacked the moral qualifications for president, but Trump gets a pass. If you do the bidding of Christians, they can look past your wildly immoral behaviour.

Trump makes Clinton look like a flipping ascetic on that front.
 
That anyone wants to sleep with Donald Trump? No. The line is that Melania is, like so many immigrants, doing a job no other American wants to do.
 
It is a tough life to be first ... and if a second ... the powers that have God in hand believe you are a wee chit ... much less than them. I, myself, believe the follower people are better observers ... kind 'a live science you can see from the back benches ...

Off to read God Against the Gods as one of the 40 legends about Roman Gods ... babble 'n away about their power ... that completes the up-down relationship of hubris and nigh Mrs. ... MOG's? If women are kept in the dark and naïve state of mind ... would they know any better than give birth to the likes of satyr-like children? Would they make up enigma's about things unknown, like Hi Brow gods with thick foreheads?

All have equality in gods world ... thus the period spent with the thick heads ... the boneyard of the story? Jesus even dipped into the scull in place ... as a lighter version of Levantine ... hiding in the hard darkness of isolated sols ...

Some day they'll gather for songs of sadness, on things that should've been learned beta (that's 2nd best) --- Merle Haggard!

Could be any one of 40 legends taking a dip ... kind of a baptism in the unreal ... then beyond that: "abstract IDe-aLs"!

Al, awl, all being variable holy icon ... like 'ʘ' trace of Wotan ... grace of a wide dimensional thought ... difficult for the closed up type ... like OH's!

Ore Oz may have a negative connotation ... somewhat dependant ... (with connections, of silent nature)! One has to get out there and listen ... like there was bleeding words laid out ... some hate that feint whine ... and little biers ... Po's? A word of myth!
