Is Being Human
It is hard to know what your position was ... If I have cancer and the cancer presents with symptoms that are too hard for me to ignore or manage ... I would probably go to a doctor as a very 'sick person' ... I would want to know my options from there and as I said I suspect that I would not choose chemotherapy but I really can not know for sure what my choice would be given an actual diagnosis. I knew I had gallbladder problems a long time before I actually sought to have it removed. And for the duration of the disease ... I tried to manage it with proper diet and no 'for the rest of my life' perscriptives. I used over the counter pain medications till they stopped working. At which point unless I wanted to live in constant agony I had to seek medical intervention. I do not take any of the medicines that my doctor has suggested I take on a regular basis. Basically all I take for medicine is tylenol or gravol. Unless of course I have a bad ear infection or pneumonia ... then I take antibiotics. So again I have no idea how severe your symptoms were before you sought medical intervention .... I am saying my symptoms have to be pretty severe before I go looking for a treatment.f you were actually in my position and had chosen to avoid diagnosis and treatment, you'd likely be dead or very sick right now.
