Was the Pastor encouraging people to break the quarantine act or other covid related rules to stop the spread of a virus that is killing people? I don’t know what he said in his sermons, but he was saying that by his actions of having people attend his large congregation. He’s in a position of responsibility, and influence, to many people. It’s criminally negligent.
The ex-security employee is more than likely going to go to jail if he is convicted. He’s convicted of serious crimes. He was named, himself. He’s not being let off the hook! It has to do with him, far more than the company they have a contract with. I don’t know why you insist on trying to compare apples to oranges.
(Though the company obviously needs to look more closely at who they’ve hired for this contract, and do some re-screening -- and maybe the contract ought to be given to a different company. It has nothing to do with the pastor! It’s a different problem. Both are serious.)
