Intuition: the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning.

I believe intuition is as far above the mind as the mind is above the emotions. It's the next step to unfold in our long journey of awareness. While the light of the mind has been paramount in our achievements, it still has it's limitations when compared to the intuition.

Intuition is the mind's eye, that part of us that simply knows something without having to think about. It's the flash of intuition that lights up the whole countryside like lightening on a dark night.

But, and here's the rub, only through mental discipline and control can intuition ever be relied on. Anything else is random, glamour or illusion.

In the first labour of Hercules our thoughts were represented by man-eating wild horses that ravaged the country side. And it was the "mares", the female horses that were the worse. And so our "negative thoughts" do the worst damage and are the hardest to control.

Hercules eventually rounded the mares up, driving them through the next gate, but not before initial failure at a great personal loss.

We need to rein in and control our thoughts before we can master them. With this control comes the next great step our "being at one with the Universe", to use a old and misused saying.

Can one tease out unknowns from the greater un-known psyche?

What if you do not have a BS based on what you don't know and should pry into? All crap is somewhat fertile and comes with a sense of gravitas ... free fallout?
