Couple days ago DJT announced that he is trying to set up meeting with Russia and China with the goal of an agreement to cut military spending in half.

Why not just honouring the agreement that was made that if Ukraine got rid of their nukes on their border, they would be protected and not invaded, for a starter?
 
That might be a tough sell. It will be resisted by the American military industrial complex. China is focused on increasing its dominance of the South China Sea. Russia is looking at invading, maybe, one or more of the Baltic states. I see his statement as a warning shot at the American Defense Department to get its act together.

Maybe, but the US signed and so did Russia, so any other solution becomes unbelievable doesnt it?

Then there was the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership in 1997 signed between Russia and Ukraine....that's even more interesting.

Good thing we are all living under God's mercy -- wouldn't like to think what it would be like to live in a global economic system based on might makes right
(like when Trump, when he was stymied by a Scottish landowner, thereby keeping him from building his golf course, said he was going to get that land from him. or what XI and Putin are doing to their citizens...only one we can ultimately trust is God...)

So much moolah can be released. Trump is probably aware that we live in a multipolar world now, so he has to adjust. And he has so much access to very knowledgable and wise people...
 
The UK and US only care about their own interests. That is why they helped the coup in Ukraine in 2014, violated promises made to Russia when Eastern countries were joining NATO and kept Ukraine weak until Russia invaded.

i know i have this bias/problem, of thinking there is a best solution, when really there are many different ways of existence and going through life and no human way of not experiencing some form of suffering
in a real sense, i see all these media everywhere as examples of "this is my way of ordering the world and therefore you should follow it"

There is so much to chew ova in a sense of fued for the soul ... but elite folk hate work, labor and all such nonsense ... thus it cannot be ...

Conclusion: All is imagined ... it isn't real as virtue remains out there! However there is a lot of Poo ... since the truth just won't fly ...

The US does have a deep problem with this issue. It is a matter of history and cheap labour, right? How much of the US economy depends on these immigrants? 25%?

I have noticed in recent years of an inability in USA for the public to talk rationally aboot this, with only two options: Open Borders and Closed Borders

Hope you figure oot how to solve it. USA's love of making money over human values runs deep (and the swamp that supports it)
