Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

I think we can celebrate red & white and orange both myself. The goal should be to make the red & white stand for what it really means for everyone, not sideline it.

Enough of that. We can take to politics if we want to discuss more.

Not much happening in this part of the world. Doing a bit of writing (see the thread I started in P&C), a bit of foruming, a bit of just being alive. Getting muggy and hot around here but showers and storms are possible so maybe it will break later?

We're still at our friends' place north of Saskatoon. It was just the four of us then it expanded by three more adults and four children between 7 and 12. The place is livelier. :)

Good morning, all. As we continue to ponder the meaning of Canada Day, for all those who reside on this land mass, and celebrate the first weekend of no school for most kids, let us repair to the Room and gather round the Coffee Cart, for caffeine and conversation and community. All is ready. Help yoursef.

Stit is an old word for a stand and some folk will not stand for it especially if it is for word ... it doesn't do well to support virtue of lies as in constituted ... when cons are against it vs the proteinaceous! In reality these are to go down and thus the only place to observe virtue ... in the abstract!

It may be naked as nothing and thus Claire as de loony ... few see it ... thus spiritual transparency under the moon ... over the earth as in Eire ... Aaron Winds? here's a myth buried there too as fruit in the field of straw ... time for short cakes they may be flat or panned ... maybe just for one night! Like a Joey in a dream ... one wonders where God's troubles go ...

Are folk interested in word? Not knowing is something else ... chill de wrens ... bodes? Booty of creation and then there are those that diminish them ... adulteration brings and end ... templar? Imagine the imp ligations ... lick a shun or KISS it ... as it goes! Can donkeys be sharp ... expect kicks ... Payne 't fore ward ... always reactions! Divined houses ... if you gather nothing ...

Spent most of the afternoon yesterday at the public beach in L' Original (means moose in French). Had a fabulous time. When we left, cars were parked along the side of the highway for several blocks in both directions in addition to the many cars parked along the road on the grounds and both parking lots. Music, giant slip and slide, foam pool, another large inflatable and more.

I imagine Port Stanley and Grand Bend are hopping this weekend. We had some rain in the afternoon yesterday but it is supposed to be nice for the rest of the weekend. Some fireworks last night but not excessive.

Some fireworks last night but not excessive.

There were some silly yobs messing with firecrackers from about 7 to after my bedtime (in addition to a couple of hours of fire"works")...closed the house up tight and left music on overnight.

Good morning from the lake. The younguns are going out fishing while some of us chill at the house. So far it's a nice day. Rain is in the forecast.

Good morning, all! from crowded beaches and flying canines (There's no need to fear! UNDERDOG is here!) we gather in spirit around the coffee cart, for chat and support. All is ready, come and get it.

Spectacular weather here this weekend - absolutely perfect. Well - we really could use some rain for the gardens ... hopefully Tuesday.
Had a busy, pleasant time. Time with friends; Canada Day parade (it did rain then but only for a short while) & BBQ with friend & her little kids; lots of gardening & major pruning; a bit of knitting; watched a great documentary on the increasing diversity of people using Algonquin Park (which is larger in area than PEI and has over a thousand lakes); caught glimpses of fireworks from our front porch - did not wish to squeeze into the crowd to watch them at the park. Contemplating a new shorter haircut - hmmmm .... shall I? It's been many years since I've worn it short!

Good morning! Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a pleasant, safe holiday weekend, and that the pets are recovering from the booms and flashes. The coffee cart is up and running for your virtual caffeine needs, and for debriefing from the weekend. Cmon in and set a spell.

Nothing unusual ... only the normal global catastrophes because of rationed thought process ... thin as ester see ... ethereal?
Pre science is considered evil as Danial and other devious visions of what's down the road ... thus eliminated as the light is turned down ... if posed is that poesy to be knocked off ...

Fireworks still going off last night, which is technically a by-law violation here. Fireworks are allowed from one day before designated holidays (Victoria Day, Canada Day, Diwali, and I think one other) to one day after. Oh well, at least it wasn't too terribly late.
