Haha. I said frequently then changed to regularly. I guess almost everyday to pick up a couple of things at a time is frequent as much as it is regular. Save-On is really my go-to place because there's a Tim's kiosk there and it's something to do. I shouldn't but riding around the block aimlessly then going back home alone just doesn't do much for me. In the spring/ summer I took photos, was happy just to be outside. I feel less inspired now. February covid Blues has sunk in. Since Covid, I've kept to only a few places in my vicinity. I went downtown once before Christmas to buy wrapping at the dollar store. The one closer went out of business. It was more like a $5+ store, that's why.

If we have lock-down, I will understand why and do it, but I will probably go even more stir-crazy on my own here, feeling more stuck. Realizing that after the snow here. I want to get out! And I'm a natural introvert and I still get bored! I get pessimistic. I need to see humans around once in awhile - someone other than my landlords. I really hope the vaccines are expedited faster, if possible.

Good morning, all! It has snowed in this part of the world (yeah, I know... snow in February... what a concept) and it isn't done yet. Seems like a good day to stay in and drink coffee and tea and other warm drinks. Coffee cart is up and running, help yourself.

Is rigidity a fine thing until one learns different? This is not for those alternately fixated against knowledge as a Xenos item! Strange eh?

New learning can make on insecure and unsafe ... with where they're at presently.

The Oath Makers are really expressing unchangeable laws ... and enforcing them on the alter ...

Then the Polar Express goes soude ...

Had a great discussion last week about the stoned lady in Deuteronomy ... the man was shocked such a story was in the bible ... then I've heard a lot of theologians that do not read Leviticus and Deuteronomy ... because it bores them ... doesn't auger well for those claiming to be expert in vast topics ... I admit that there is much to learn and plough on ... some don't due to resistance! Stones?

My husband got the snowblower out, and did the entrance to our drive so that I got out. Youngestson was shovelling the edges of the parking area and the deck when I was leaving.
When I got to where i work daily, i took a run at it, got in the driveway, but, then shovelled the sidewalks and bit of drive.
Still snowing here, but, I don't think as much as last night.
It is beautiful.

We had snow, ice pellets, freezing rain and now rain on top of it all. Saved me to go out on a home visit, as the patient’s relative also would have had to drive there. Not save. Better driving after work.

I had a lovely drive to drop off my quilt and pick up more fabric for Victoria's Quilts. The mountains and water were gorgeous today. I commented about it in the Last Post thread. Then I went to FB and this live cam from the top of Mount Benson. Enjoy.

I had a fun morning. I got brave (or foolish, depending on how you look at it) and took my scooter out! The sidewalk (I use the sidewalk whenever possible) was clear all the way up my street, but once I got out onto the furthest away main road at the other end, there were clumps of snow and some piles, but mostly clear the whole way to the store. I imagined it like skiing around moguls (like a rock star! it’s not exactly an ATV but my little scooter does pretty well!) I got stuck once, going up a curb incline there was too much hardened snow in the way. A man came by and kicked the snow out of the way and gave me a push. Then on the way home it had warmed up and there were just lots of slush puddles but it was fine. I skidded barely a couple of inches a couple of times but was able to control my scooter just fine. Actually coming back up my street some cars were skidding worse than me! Which is not good. Better if I slide into a car than if a car slides into me! But all was fine. It was an adventure. Sun is out (oops now hiding). Now I feel pretty good!

Round 2. Road plow bank cleared. Mrs. M got the debris from the sidewalk plow earlier when she had to go out to run a couple errands. Only flurries with a risk of squalls now so hopefully this is it. At most, might need to do a quick pass in the morning if we do get squalls.

I coped with large quantities of snow today. When you get two cars in a single driveway, you just get the strip behind the cars plowed by the service. So, steps early on. Then, after my boarder managed to get herself stuck, getting out (don't ask), I got mine out, got out the scoop, and did the rest of the driveway, to my standard anyways, which is quite low.

Ran my group tonight, and despite crying most of the day, managed without tears. Still haven't got enough nerve to watch the Sunday, valentine-themed service yet. Might not, although my interest was piqued by discussion of a lovely soprano/alto duet.

Good morning, all! Today is the beginning of Lent, Ash Wednesday. Let us contemplate with great solemnity whatever it is that we contemplate. Coffee us up, water is hot. Enjoy.

Time to contemplate what I will undertake this year as a Lenten discipline.

Calls for another cup of coffee ☕

Good morning everyone. Tons of snow here too Bette. Waking on our established path it’s over my knees. Step off the “path” and it’s almost to my waist. Incredible really. All the snow is keeping the coyotes and deer in one place as we aren’t seeing tracks

Good morning. Dog and I had a more eventful walk today. We were enjoying the quiet park and the sunshine. I was carefully watching for ice on the road and dog was sniffing spots. We got to about the middle of the park and saw a fire truck. I figured it was a garden variety health issue and hoped the person whose home was there was okay. Then I saw a couple of very fit looking police officers wearing green tactical uniforms and carrying guns. Okay, so it was not a garden variety health issue. There were many officers, both in regular uniforms and in greens and many police vehicles. They seemed to be centred on a fifth wheel a couple sites up the road. I was able to get to the garbage cans where I could deposit Baela's offering. I decided to use a different route to get home. A friend called me to where she was and told me not to go the way I was headed.

So, it turned out that the friend who called me was in the site next to the incident. She was asked to leave and was at another friend's place. The guy next to her was the source of the incident. Apparently he was yelling and trashing the inside of his unit. While we were standing and talking, we heard the dog barking and a man crying out. As I headed home the police were leaving the park. My friend got the all clear shortly afterwards.

I hope all involved in the incident are okay. My guess is drugs or mental health. I doubt we'll know the details.

I need a coffee.

I am trying to NOT add gloomy things to my day. Real life with adult kids brings more than enough issues to listen to.

However, the temperature is a bit warmer today AND the sun is shining. That same daylight will be visible at suppertime too. Nice to experience.
