Chemgal…..sounds similar to the babysitting I'm involved in this summer. And I wonder how I ever raised kids....With grandkids, I tend to focus only on them, and not everything else. When I was raising my own, I had no choice: I had to focus on the everything else as well! Also, when the kids come, I change my house around...out come the toys, the high chair, the 'bed', the diaper changing area. When they go...I try to make it look like our house again.

Good morning! Coffee's up, water for tea, etc is ready. Someone has been kind enough to bring muffins. Have a great start to the day.

mice In my experience they are typically seen
In the old school-the home ec room, at my parents house, our old house in Edmonton (2 separate times), my friends house

Snap traps baited with peanut butter work, as do those sticky sheets.

Those muffins are delicious! Thanks MrsA. The coffee is topnotch.

We're heading in to Victoria to see my oncologist today. I'm curious to see what she has to say. We will be visiting with old friends from up north after the appointment. It should be a nice day. It will certainly be nice to visit old friends.

Junior says it seems they are tired of peanut butter now.

I used to eat it every morning for breakfast and never got tired of it. Nowadays, I eat cereal for breakfast but I use peanut butter as a dip for crackers for snacking.
For breakfast I alternate peanut butter + jam, and butter + honey.

When I think of peanut butter, I think of an "ingredient". In peanut butter cookies, in hummus (if I'm away from my tahini, or if I'm teaching a "cheap eats" class on how to make hummus), in satay sauce, etc.

Honey, otoh, is just about my favorite thing. Thank godde for no family propensity to diabetes (well, my Dad did, but he had long term prednisone use to blame for it)...
