What do you get when you pour boiling water down a rabbit hole?

Hot cross bunnies!

Pouring myself a tea and getting back to work. The home office thing is going okay so far. Just have to keep moving around for meetings since Mrs. M is in the same room as I am (the official Mendalla family home office). No idea where we'll put Little M if he comes back from Ottawa (it's in discussion). He's remote working right now and his spring-summer term classes will probably be online unless things change dramatically by May.

All things that can change may ... or may not depending on Murphy's uncertainty claws ... they form a part of the rooking that goes on in high and dark places ... remember that!

Really screws up settlements of institutional BS!

Good morning, yes it's still morning here. :) I hope all is well. I have my first telephone doctor's appointment today. It should be interesting. I have to also go out for bloodwork today. Don't you just envy my big social life? :p :ROFLMAO:

A friend dropped off a roll of batting she wasn't going to use. It would be 2021 before I run out of fabric. In exchange I sent a Robert Munsch book for her Kindergarten child. And yes we did the exchange respecting the distance.

I bought some fabric to make a baby quilt last week. I washed it today. I probably have to go out tomorrow so I may order cutting tools from Michaels and pick them up while I'm out. That will motivate me to tidy the "sewing area". I may need prayers for the whole endeavour.

My siblings are talking right now, as a long term care space has come up for April 6 th. Nursing homes in Berlin are only taking people from home right now, not from hospitals or other facilities. My moms caregiver is supposed to stay until April 20 th, but the border to Poland is closed for foreign workers so they likely won’t have another care giver after that date. Makes me feel terrible to have her move into LTC at this stage of Corona.

Good morning! The cart for warming beverages is ready. Enjoy at a safe distance.

Coffee to go along with pondering the story of the fish with the coin in its mouth! Thanks Red. . . might need a large mug for this.

Koine ... common word from the Greek fisherman ... sour Ba?

In the land of insane passions expect transliteration ... for lack of good word ... institutions are lost! The Gods of war had dark intent expectations!

The camp belles causes chaos in the lines while running awry ... the fabrics tattered! Can you stand rye truth? Expect implosions ...

It's never easy IMO to make those LTC decisions - and the current situation only complicates that. Sending hugs for all your family Mrs.A.

Welcome to a home that keeps showing random fluff and thread and bitty bits!

So sorry you have this worrisome decision to make. Some days it seems like you are aren't given a fair shake at options. I'm sure you will all

I am regrouping after a very stressful morning. I was expecting a phone appointment with my doctor at the clinic. After an hour waiting, I phoned and learned that I was not on his schedule. Some of the SNAFU involved learning that my cancelled visit last week was coded as "ended" suggesting I had talked to him. I hadn't. I also learned they cannot check my electronic records, and that they had to wait for a fax note from the main centre. Sheesh. This is friggin 2020, how is that even happening?? I also learned that the nurses do not enter short notes to reflect phone calls, ie "spoke to client today. Doctor's appointment rescheduled to next week, to be done by phone. Lab requisition faxed to satellite lab for bloodwork to be done on Wednesday". It would take 1 minute, and would improve communication between staff. It would also reduce the angst of customers in the middle of that nonsense. So, I am settling out after a mini-meltdown. I think I'll have some lunch and make a tea. I have some delicious Irish Breakfast which will be so good right now.

Have some chocolate with it.
