After a vision of destruction, the Lord promises to give the remnant of the people an undivided heart and a new spirit and to give them back the land of Israel.

The question is what isreal in this domain of ongoing chaos ... constantly stirred like a Shakespearean called Ron ...

On vacation but back to reading Ezekiel Up to cch 15 now. Mmoren weird visions. More miming a role to illustrate
His prophisy.

Ezekiel 15ff
It seems ezekiel taught gods message in parables He compares it to a vine that canmot be used as wood, to a woman who prostrates herself to worship idols etc. Her idol worship iis considered worse than the sin of sodom whose sin was arrogance and failure to care for the poor.
Tthe people of israel will suffer for their sins, but each his own , the sons will not suffer for their fathers sin.
Trou it all there is the promise that a remnant will be saved.

Still reading Ezekiel. Up to ch 30 now a blt slower than usual perhaps because I found Spongs Reclaimigthe Bible for a NonREligious World. On MRsaNteaters shelf and I!m. Reading his understanding of the propphets similar to mine.
In this most recent reading he warns about the rise in power of babbylon and how GOd is using BAbylon to punish the nations around Judah. I think this is written after the fact although it reads like a prediction.

Runs parallel to passive versus active Doolittle's … enigma of the finest degrees of magnitude … Magi?

Many don't understand alien words that well … too deep forum … thus the humming and hawing … inhumane orders we just don't know that far out in tamas ... Platonic Timaes?

Ama Zin … still surprizing to the stuck on the point!

Interesting observation, particularly it seems to me, when we're looking at the New Testament. I always like to observe what side of the massacre of Jerusalem a text lies on.

Old Jerusalem, present … or future as not yet glowing? Tis a place for setting fires ...

Ch 37 contains the vision of the valley of dry bones that I mentioned at the beginning of reading Ezekiel. I've known people who tath this literally and refuse cremation/ How can God put together a body with no bones to work with? and what about someone who lost an arm or leg years ago - will they still be without an arm when they live again. surely this is not meant to be ttaken literally. NEVERTHELESS IT IS FUN TO SING, iT HELPS US to remember that it brought comfort to people, and the truth that yes, life can be breathed back into a tired discouraged person or nation.

If one enters the val 've bones ... could one put some meat on the niche collected and tucked away? This could be a rising concern ... fermentation of bread as originally flat out ... Jill poked?

Many years ago I read the Anne of Green Gables series. In the book Anne of the Island it mentions two ceramic dogs named Gog and Magog, and that they were named from the Bible. Since that was long before computers were in ever home I mdidnot get to look it up. But lo and behold here it is in Ezekiel 38. The prophet predicts that Gog will attack Israel. When Gog is defeated, God will reestablish Israel.

Ezekiel 40 begins with a vision of the temple being rebuilt - given in great detail.

I had hoped to finish Ezekiel whule on holidays, but it is not going to happen. We head home tomorrow.

Well, I find that Ezekiel isn't exactly the epitome of vacation reading, anyway....
