Here our mail goes all the way to Toronto then back to us... isn't that a trick?
I doubt even in strike mode still that the Postal workers want a back log to deal with I the new year,
At least as small a one as can be.

I do wish this would get settled finally, so workers get their needs met as changes in timing, amounts of parcels is increasing.
The same for teachers, don't they see how important education is? Teachers should not be wondering each year whether they have a job. Why is it the people in charge cannot pay a proper wage so people don't leave, or have to be stressed out all the time.
Respect people on the ground… they do the bulk of the work with people, kids and all. And teachers and health care make a decent base for communities to be well.

Sorry I didn't mean to get into this here, but I favour settling as whole people. not fractured which means pay decent wages.
That is the message of this season... respect all as we are all part of the whole. We need each other to thrive.
 
My parcel is due to be mailed tomorrow, as well. I've been compiling additions to several mailed parcels, so the contents are lined up and organized waiting for me to construct packages tonight.

It is all about cutting corners and minimalist economics!
 
Constructing packages was just that; I was modifying pre-cut tart boxes into mailable parcels. First one looks like it was constructed by a kindergarten student. Second one not bad, although I disguised some design flaws with a neat stripe of silver duct tape along the sides, the white duct tape I bought for this purpose having disappeared into one of the many black holes around here... The third looks almost pro.
 
My parcels all went in the mail today. I had somewhat uneven 'luck' constructing mailing envelopes out of cardboard tart boxes. There were 3 to do; unfortunately, #1 looks like it was constructed by a spastic 5 year old, and that's the one that was the Secret Santa gift...also, I'm a bit afraid that it's going to be hard to deconstruct without potential damage to the contents, so perhaps the recipient should Wondermail me when/if it arrives, and we'll discuss safest opening strategies...
 
Try your best to get your secret santa gift into the mail this weekend. The mail is still taking longer than usual. And glad to hear that many are mailed and some received!
