I didn't realize he had similar sexist ideals when it came to areas such as politics, although I shouldn't have been surprised.

I still think the Wildrose Party was smart for having Danielle Smith as a leader. I really suspect it helped them become a more mainstream party, despite annoying some of the supporters who think women should be pregnant and barefoot in the kitchen, homeschooling their quiverful (does the word work in this sense?) of children.

Hard to say what he really believes. He will drop some stupid bible-based ideas out of the blue, basically inserting them into unrelated conversations, as far as I can tell, just to see what will happen. Like a kid who throws snowballs onto highways, just to enjoy the aftermath.

Swerving and taking the bait is what he wants. Jae wins.

When I think of Libertarian I think of Ron Paul ... though he is not Canadian he has influenced the Libertarian camp possibly more than any other person alive today... Ron Paul has finally given up on politics/government ...

Undefinitive the truth probably exists somewhere between those who say there's nothing to worry about and Ron Paul who's saying there's everything to worry about.

So you contend. I've been consistently complementarian over the years. If my comments are not orderly and structured enough for you, excusé moi.
 
It will be nice to see MacKay go. I never stood for anything except what Harper told him to stand for.

Pr.jae, I recognize that men and women are different. I think most of us notice that. But their brains function in what seem to be ways at last a good as those of men. Indeed, the evidence of education systems is that women's brains appear to function somewhat better than average. I know of no evidence they should be placed in any slots other than the ones they choose to be in.

What is your evidence that they are designed for different roles? Are men sexually superior for preaching?
 
As for Ron Paul, a society, by definition is a group of people who live by rules. Imagine a city with no traffic laws. Even worse would be a society with no business laws - which is what Ron Paul (and Harper,etc.) are creating. Some call it living by the law of the jungle - but even that is untrue. Almost all animals have social structures.
Religion is largely about setting rules for social behavior. So, by Ron Paul's reasoning, all religions are wrong.
 
Ron Paul is a little deceptive as the friendly older gentleman. I'm sure he is friendly, but.... If he had been elected president I think the US would fall into dytopian chaos worse than than anything they'd ever seen. I'm sorry but a huge population of people needs government, needs rules that keep society safe and attempts to keep it fair and democratic. They needn't be draconian rules but they need to be something. There's room for plenty of improvement but there needs to be some rules . ...and I don't buy that video as being factual and sincere and not just libertarian propoganda.

Is the man's brain contaminated with essence of his grandmother (mitochondrial issue) ... some do not give DNA in neural tissue this sense ... as they have no respect for older wisdom ... if you strike something will strike back (action vs reaction theory) except when dealing with thin spaces ... and thus the things you loose ... and don't even question the wardrobe (where illuminations go) ... and thus such denial of the grandmother clause ... doesn't really know ... unless playing with your denied sole ... trying to wake ID ... apocalypse now ... abstract on collective sentience, social gathering of IT ?

woo Ron Paul reference! that man has more balls than pretty much any on the presidential ticket (certainly more than Harper, who hasn't stood up for Canada against the US feds & China feds...so the only real choice for future PM is Mulcair...)

Speaking of Anarchy, there's a book that I've just discovered, "The Art of Not Being Governed: An Anarchist History of Upland Southeast Asia" by James C. Scott. there are a people living in an area of the world in Asia called Zomia who, according to the author, have resisted state rule for some 2,000 years.

The jews seemed to be quite good at that -- being stateless for how long?

This new world of automation and larnin algorithms and work being seperated from the economy, I can see that as enabling more people to live anarchistic (self-governing) lifestyles, like the back-to-the landers or communes, but without the worry of being wiped out by a bad crop year or whatnot?

I will vote for the candidate that will raise my taxes in order to feed and house the poor.
I will vote for the candidate that will raise our nation back up to the role of peacekeepers and defenders of the oppressed.
I will vote for the candidate who will open the doors of immigration to those being oppressed by threats of death or lack of water and food.
I will vote for the candidate that will work with the chiefs of reservations to ensure that the society they wish to create is functioning in a healthy way to increase their education and raise their standards of living.
I will vote for the candidate who is not afraid of big corporations, and who will not allow them to butcher our land for the almighty dollar and the ongoing worship of oil.

So go ahead.....RAISE MY TAXES.....and do good with it and I will still vote for you!

By choosing not to reoffer in this year's federal election, Justice Minister Peter MacKay joins a growing list of Conservative MPs who will avoid the impact of pension changes that will triple the amount they must contribute and lock in the money for an extra 10 years.

MacKay's decision, announced last week, means he will be able to collect his full yearly pension of $128,832 at age 55, instead of 65.

Under new pension rules for MPs passed in 2013, all politicians elected after the next election must wait until age 65 before they can draw a pension.

In MacKay's case, those 10 years represent almost $1.3 million.

His current salary as an MP — $167,400 — combined with his $80,100 top-up as a cabinet minister totals $247,500 annually.

MacKay is the latest in a list of more than 30 Conservative MPs who have said they are not planning to reoffer.

Hoo in elle is worth $10-20K/min ... a mortal can't do that much of value in a minute period of time ... thus proving the inflation of emotional response ... a pretender in the expansion of ego (ego being awareness) and what do oligarchs really now about common stuff?
 
and as long as there are people who find value in these people to shell out that kind of money to hear them talk, they will keep on getting that money -- if there wasn't, then they wouldn't do it...
remember -- one of Canada's representatives to the world is Mr Rogers -- who happens to fill out his cardigan very well :)
