It does. Can't get boxes on the weekend.
Good day is Wednesday, when stash has been refilled after shelves have been stocked.

WOW - you are a sorting & packing wonder!! I'm totally amazed at all you're getting done so quickly!! Way to go.
If you're in my neighbourhood - there's a used box place nearby that has all sizes & shapes & strengths - even for weird stuff like art etc. I've often got boxes from there (very good prices IMO) to ship stuff out west.

My spouse and I are working well together.
We sort stuff together. If we use it, it goes. If we don't use it, and either wants it, it goes. If we arent' sure, it is set aside for a later decision. Lots gets put immediatley into the don't want or keep box.
For packing, he has been making and gtting boxes, cutting paper, and then, we pack.

We went through pictures that way. He put stuff in a keep pile, and then another pile. I then went through the other pile, and put stuff in keep pile.
Some went to other family, ie this is a great picture of sister-in-law and mom, or ute one of their kids.
That kind of working together helped.

WOW - all that sorting and packing completed already. Yesterday I made a final decision to leave that bit of Christmas decor where it is so I will be ahead of the game come Christmas. It will be a thing I don't have to deal with!

The road is quite scenic, with dips and valleys, and protected land by the GRCA (conservation authority)

Nice digs.

Things continue to progress. Wrapped up some of the internet, tv, phone items today. They sure don't want you to leave their service. Kept offering us great deals to stay and talking to a loyalty customer service agent. Crazy as the service we have at our home is not available where we are going. We are also keeping part of our service alive at the old house for a bit, so once we explain, they go, "ok", and then once again get a "you will be getting a call" sigh.

Did you have to wait forever to talk to someone to cancel your service? That was the most frustrating part of our downsize.

No, i used the "call me back" feature.

I have spent a bunch of time on the phone though, trying to figuring out options.
Plus one bill is in my husband's name, one in mine, plus, i had my dad's # here that i had to cancel, and the services we have won't move, and we are keeping our phone. The first call was 45 min long, then, they ended up not being able to do what they wanted, had to pass me over, and in the end, dropped the call. That call made me miserable, but, the ones that i made a day later were ok.

Rogers also was "we don't want you to cancel", even though I can't get Rogers at the new house.
Sigh.
Scripts, I do hate them. I get why they are there, but, when you are non-standard the frustration from a script is up there.

SCripts are protocol ... so people don't have to think it through as a ridiculous consequence of humanity ... unknowing ... a tragic comedy as we pass through and lose it ... tis illiterate fantasy ... as unscripted thought!

so we are possession-2days.

House is primarily packed. Boxes neatly stacked.
Today is going through and either patching, pitching or setting aside the last things not packed, as well as packing the kitchen, other than food required for tomorrow/Friday

Truck is on order, nephes, brother-in-law, sons are all ready for major move Saturday morning,
We may get a jump on it and pre-load the truck Friday night with some stuff.

Rooms will soon have "last minute" boxes, for the things we need to use up to move day, such as bathroom, kitchen.

Such a busy & exciting week for you pinga! Remember to eat well & get some sleep - so you don't end up sick!! (Just nod & say "Yes Mom" LOL!!)

Your new home is beautiful, I'm sure all the fussing for the move will be worth it very soon after.
