The only time we really use them is on the be. With the Heat variable it can be somewhat tricker to know when its cooked.

But the best use is that we have one that can beconnected to an iphone. Really handy in the rain. Put meat on, set thermometerr. Come inside. Phone tells you when its done. Put on raincoat, go get meat.....
