THpose questions said "all our problems are caused by too many immigrants" In a province where "replacement theory" is alive and well, where routinely immigrants (and native born) people of colour experience racist assumptions, where people often complain about people speaking their native tongue and "taking all the jobs" they were racist dog whistles.

"Those questions, those phrases weren't in the actual referendum questions.

The ballot asked specific, formal policy questions about eligibility and jurisdictions—it didn't ask people to endorse hostile slogans.

Bypassing the literal language of the question to focus on angry rhetoric is as good a way as any to shut a conversation down.
 
Whyczar, you seem to live in denial of the racism that colours the thoughts and actions of most populists.

Accusing me of 'denial' is not an argument.

The broad claim that most populists are driven by racial bias rather than economic frustration doesn't hold up.
 
Does an expression like a one-way, or dead-end ally mean much in the empiric that indicates a sense of Newton's action-reaction, or do and think ... where in reality we do and then have to deal with it ... thought and knowledge is generally a futuristic concept in many souls.

Anything different is something else beyond our destructive reality ... really abstract.

Being the destructive option of the bully is growing immensely for the sake of profit margins ... I see an end!

Sorry folks ... I see the bad news born in a creature of avarice ... no space for thought and thus something has to be mowed down.

Powerful negatives? If the positive pole erupts there is that reaction until peace is ensured ... it is coming due to great impatience by those of avarice ... medium?

It appears we are numb carriers in majority (by and large in numbers) and won't hear of bad news or the lessons such news projects. There was some news from the UN about a heated environment crossing the 1.5 degree limit. It is denied by the fat industrialists ...

Now tell me are there dark mysteries about intelligence and understanding? Several philosopher-observers foresaw some crisis years ago ... the determined to oppose it deny with great energy ... and still is is destructive. So I guess what will be will be and it makes do difference what the idiot thought's come up with from the residues of what's pas't!

Is the concept of mind, soul, psyche a distant thing, alien ... kind of immigrating ... passing as well? Looking for a place to rest ... satirical substitution since the truth is unacceptable ... a-my-bad?

The economic frustration is paired with blaming immigrants for problems created by petroleum companies. Those companies have steadily increased production while reducing employees, cutting their wages, and failing to pay their taxes owed to municipalities, hurting local economies. Smith cut corporate taxes in her first month as premier and Cenovus "thanked her" by moving their headquarters to the States.

There's more to that than can be imagined by the determined that states: "it can't be so!"

If you will not process experiences ... you just can't accept it ... it is just how it is if no one cares that the leaders extract every last thing for profit ... no chit overlooked ... and a long term before the rubble produces --- Barney! As we go to our knees defeated by what els? Avarice ... Arch Aye ...

The Aye the looks down on us as "I" ... a collective fiber! That's a separate thread ... rogue? Try and pull that together ...

It manifests as: "me, myself and I" over and over again because of the schism ... real perception is like that ... swayed, like light attracted to a black body ... where does light originate? That's unanswered also ... but some power monger will tell you they control it, even if they know better. What's the chance they are totally deficient ... pathological?

We have to experience this to believe (Newton) and thus the collaboration of light and gravity ... where else but in the dark? I imagine something will come forth of it ... an a great lot will not hear of it and thus greater silence ...

Is there any greater power that silence and darkness ... it may give relief to a lot of effort ... run with it! Like the sun you'll likely come up on the alternate end ... like sometimes in the morning when shadows are deep ... its a song by Ed Ames ... aimed at some purpose ...

Information on upcoming events? I've been told if there's bad news people do not wish to face it ... that makes a rough conclusion even though the fuss ends ...

That fuss over who knows what ... it just comes to yah ... in a bunch! No idea why ... no attention or focus ...

Oo, I haven't seen it yet. I'll comment when I do. My littlest brother worked at Imperial for two work terms when he did chemical engineering technology in college. Ended up at another company for his career, though.

I dislike the use of immigrants. I am one pf those. People claim they don't mean me but get upset as they realise that proves they mean people of coloir. Yes they are racist.

Have not heard anything either.... at least not in the last few days
 
Aren't we all immigrants .. most without a clue of our origins ... some say star dust ... nothing but grit ... except maybe the essence soaked up in the dirt ... maybe I should say moon light wanderers?
 
Still seems out of place ... I've always felt off ... maybe because of the reindeer roots ... Scandinavia! Should I fear being shipped off to a southern nation.

Imagine the squawk among migrating boids ... and then they probably didn't have a clue either ...
