The saying I knew about March was "In like a lion, out like a lamb", and I just assumed it meant that March started in winter, ended in spring...

Also, LAST. AND Annual Congregational Meeting. To which I am dragging my reluctant ass...
More about those lovely wicked March storms which hit either at the beginning of the month or the end. Though, our weather has more to do with the moon phases and when solstices/equinoxes are than the month or day on our calendars.

We have our annual meet in in February. Of far, though, my Senior Patient hang annoyed it reminds trance.

Somehow, we ended up on a May 1 fiscal year so our ACM is in May or June. I assume United Churches all use a calendar fiscal year hence all the ACMs coming up in February?

We have, to very good effect, begun, in the last five years, the practice of truly making our "work and worship one" by having the Annual Meeting embedded in the Sunday service last Sunday in January. We start 1/2 hour earlier than usual, and conclude with a potluck sandwich lunch (with soup, if I'm the chair, without, otherwise, it appears...). It's a wonderful way of doing the core "business" of the church with an attentive audience. We used to do it AFTER the potluck lunch and attendance tended to be dismal; also, it was an awfully long day for some. One drawback is if we have newcomers that day - despite everyone's best efforts, it's a slightly duller and longer service than usual. However, at least one of the newcomers today stayed for lunch, and seemed happy and friendly (she sat at the same table as I), so all's well...

Also, LAST.

There seems to be a lot of birds the past couple of days - is that a sign that things are warming up, or that it will get colder?

The main reading I'm looming forward to our annual meet in ice that. It could be okay. I hope it'll go okay. The only ones I've told about it are my partner, and my mom. Both have cooperated me in my desk ion.

Beta of all is that he has a sense of humour about everything (bi god is there something to something spontaneously occurring in nothing)? Isn't that sum tin ... and allowing a tin reflective man ...
