All my pizza comes from the freezer section of the grocery store. I hope someday I will live where they actually deliver pizza to one's dwelling....

You could also try making your own!

I can eat most pizza, although I have to watch some of the toppings & sauces.

Later time we got pizza it was from Metro - homey French, not frozen. Our favorite place to get pizza delivery from is not one of the big pizza conglomerate. Rather, it is a family-run pizza restaurant sled Milano.

Yeah, we switched from Domino's to a local joint a few years ago and haven't regretted it. Now looking at flipping from them to another nearby local joint that some say is better.

There's been a few places that have opened up around here recently. I don't think it's worth risking trying them out. Apparently they all use Indian spices and something seems to be a trigger for me - unfortunately I don't even know specifically what it is. Luckily I heard reviews about that before trying it out.

I have a sister who seems to be sensitive to turmeric, and that's in some 90% of Indian dishes, I'd guess. My mother was, as well.

Hmmmm...Canada Post's postage hikes are starting to affect my subscription numbers...hope they are going to read it online and not just stop reading the paper.

Me too. When I have un a headache I tar ibuprofen and one form of affine.

I'm trying very hard to decode this language you and LuceNDs speak. Would I be translating correctly to say:

"When I have a headache, I take ibuprofen and some form of caffeine." I'm still not understanding the patterns of covering up the underlying words; it appears more like random replacement than anything.

Also, last, and since I think I might have gotten 3 hours of sleep last night due to this infernal cough, probably good night.

The Indian menu I cook maybe once a month, could be 100% depending on which chicken I do. The spicy baked chicken has turmeric, the Tandoori I'm not sure about since I use a store bought pre-mix for it instead of mixing my own like I do for the other. So, yeah, Indian (and related like Persian and Afghan) cooking would be hell if you had a sensitivity to it.

Had homemade waffles for lunch - first time in a long time...I seem to be doing okay. Interesting how wheat isn't my issue but veggies are.

Watching Winnipeg and Toronto kick off the last weekend of the regular season for the CFL

The problem with spices is that they are often just listed as that - spices. I think I can tolerate small doses as we use a fairly wide variety at home.
I know something that is too hot is a problem, but that's more obvious as it's a form of stress on the body. There's something about Indian food where even when it's not hot-spicy I seem to get stomach swelling. It could be turmeric, but there's also lots of other things that we just don't use to the same extent.

If a spice is going to bother you, probably even a small amount will be a issue...I would think spice blends would be the worst.
